You are very right. To be honest, it is maybe one of the best gamea ever for me. I am 830 hours into this game, never thought a game will again keep me ingame for so many hours. Best atmosphere and so many cool people to play with

Yeah I have heard that before. It’s something I should carry more often!

Why gunslinger though?
@AverageMayhem17 күн бұрын
Good question; honestly, I prefer the simplicity of gunslinger. It just works for me. I know that very high level players often swear by hunter though
@hextech316117 күн бұрын
@ give it a try my man, it’ll feel weird for a little but once you get use to it it’ll become second nature. Them giving the gunslinger option was a terrible idea. For years we only had the one control scheme, the biggest mistake they made was making gunslinger the default controls. Trust though, you might have a couple bad games but once you feel comfortable with it you won’t even need to think about it, it ads a bunch of functionality to your character movement. (ALSO NOT ASKING) this one you have to do if not done already, separate jump and vault key binds. That one’s a must and will save your life more than you can imagine.
@AverageMayhem17 күн бұрын
Ok, I’ll give it a go. I believe that I currently have jump and vault both on SPACE. Are you referring to when you are running away from players for example?
@hextech316117 күн бұрын
@ Jump and vault key separation just gives more control over your character again. Before I swapped it I would sometimes try to jump shot something and end up vaulting something close by, also we’ve all been trying to vault through a window and jumped instead of vaulting and died from it. Again it will feel weird and you may even die once or twice getting use to it, but in the long run a for sure good change to make

"That one horror game where your internet connection doesn't matter"

Can I ask why you say that?
@Steve-s4b17 күн бұрын
I remember hoping this game was PVE when it came out, but PVPVE ruined it for me. Outside of that which is in fairness just something I personally dislike, it's a great game.
@AverageMayhem17 күн бұрын
@@Steve-s4b That is fair enough, PvP isn’t for everyone. I hope you enjoyed the content though 👍🏻

The most mediocre FPS Horror Game that I'm not playing anymore. I bought it because it was different from stuff like COD but now it's just spam guns, very sad to me, just a personal preference but it's definitely shared by a big part of the old player base. Though, at this point, I would recommend it to the average person.
@AverageMayhem16 күн бұрын
I understand why you say that, and I will admit, I have found myself questioning a few of the choices that the devs have made recently. However I believe it does still have some of the best features of a game of this type to date, the sound design is top tier for example.

Comments like this always make me seriously question if they've actually played CoD. CoD is braindead easymode fps, Hunt is still one of the most punishing. In good lobbies, a single missed shot often spells death, even with semiauto guns.
@AverageMayhem16 күн бұрын
I agree Hunt can be punishing, sometimes just giving your position away by setting off a sound trap can be the difference between survival or not 😬
