Very informative, thank you. Ecwid now limits to 5 products instead of 10, but it's still worth it since it's free. Could you please make a review of the Jemi online store builder? Thanks in advance, New sub 👍

Thankyou it helped me a lot, i made my website on ecwid but when i tried to add 11th product, i saw that i have to buy premium, but it was pretty expensive for me as i just started, and have to compete with goods in the physical market in terms of price, so i Just type "best shopping website creator" and found your video, your content is awesome, keep growing man, and thanks for that information

Thank you for the kind words, they are very much appreciated and I'm glad you found the video helpful. Yes, the free Ecwid plan is limited to 10 products as they offer that instead of a free trial.

Someone did the work to create the options of free and deserve to be paid for their work (they probably did a lot of work). It's pretty reasonable that 5 or 10 products are able to be sold for free. Once a seller makes some money, they can hopefully afford to pay for services. Obviously free offerings are a gateway to paid service - no one should be expected to work for free until our entire economies run that way. I think it would be good if they allowed more options to link to more other sites and custom domains, but simply charged for those options - that would be smart.

Hi thank you very much, this was very informative. I would love to find out for someone in Nigeria trying to sell products to people in the UK (dropshipping), do you think ecwid would be excellent to use? I truly have no much capital so I'm looking to scale once I begin to make sales.
@EcommerceGold Жыл бұрын
No problem and glad it was helpful. Ecwid can be used for dropshipping but you might have to manually process orders etc depending on your dropshipping partner.

I've always just use social media, a FB page, my own FB, and shared across socials. But I also have a physical booth I rent at an antique mall... However, I don't sell antiques, so while I cover rent most months, lol, it's just not the place for me. It wasn't bad when they let me do commission, but they don't do that anymore so I wanted to try online. But there are different options and now Google has free online store option now and you can set up there and I wasn't sure what one to do, I was thinking of Square bc of how I sell in person too, because I plan on keeping my booth for a while while I get started. So, I think you answered my question... Other than the Google store....but you may have a video on that by now as this video is a yr old lol!

I haven't tried Google sites, so not sure if they include ecommerce functionality but Square is a good low-cost option, especially if you are thinking about using them to sell in-person as well.

What's software are best to use ..and do you have to pay for a domain name how ever you create your website ??
@EcommerceGold Жыл бұрын
It depends on your business and requirements as to what is going to be best and you should always buy a domain name and keep it separate from whoever you choose to build your site with

They are international options as long as the payment gateways are supported in your country. I'm not a US citizen or live in the USA btw.

That's a great list for building eCommerce platforms. But I wonder why you have not added ShopFunnels. It's a great tool with amazing features. It helps me build an e-commerce store in a few minutes as it does not require coding skills and easily integrates with major payment gateways, CRMs, and autoresponders.

@@EcommerceGold Someone tried their credit card on checkout over 100 times in two days, so I received an email from Square requesting more information about my business. I provided them with all of the information they requested, but after a week, they considered my business as "risky" and closed my payment processing account, as well as blocking my access to customer support. I had to submit a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and then I received an email from them saying that they would release my money after 90 days; I kept that complaint open until I received my money back. If you go to the BBB website, you will notice that they have a one-star rating, and I wish I had went there before starting to work with them. Anyway, I don't recommend anybody go with them since you will have no problems at first, but once you hit $10k+ in revenue, they will do something like this, I'm not sure whether that person who used his card more than 100 times on my store was also one of them. It halted my business since I was focused more on marketing and had all of my money in a square account, and I wasn't withdrawing money from the business because, once again, my concentration was on marketing, and I hadn't set up payroll at the time.
