watch yt tutorials on the basics thats what i did. It took me a year to get half decent at making beats so be ready to grind

Just focus on making a beat in the sequencer then when you got something you think is cool go to the playlist and draw out your patterns how you want. Don't worry about the other advanced stuff yet.
