Backbone now charges for a monthly/yearly sub for touchsync. Say genshin impact has no native hardware control for android. So you have to configure touchsync to use it as a hardware controller. Now Genshin impact on iphone has native backbone hardware support. So you wouldnt have to pay for touchsync. I'm now looking for an alternative for the backbone. Its ridiculous you have to pay for a monthly or yearly sub just to use the backbone on Android.

Dang! That’s not fair at all. I’d probably look into the Gamesir G8. I don’t think that has a subscription but the app is only for Android as far as I’m aware.

Just get an iPhone atp lol...Apple made a deal with Genshin Impact, plus it's smoother and runs 120 fps on iPhones because of that deal.

I have the case, no yellowing yet. I have had an ESR case for my 15 Pro Max since launch and no issue either.

Does the controller fit if you leave the case on the phone? I use a Razer Kishi V2, but with the official Samsung case it won't fit, the usb-c connector seems unable to reach the port, while using the case.

I got the backbone today and have an S24 Ultra with a case. My case is fairly slim and it would not connect to the backbone with the case on. I tried it on both adaptors included with the backbone. I decided to take the adaptor off and it worked. I was able to use the backbone with a case on.

@@HeyMarkL Incredible Super smooth roughly a constant 60fps. Few games have graphical glitches but they always improving it with adreno drivers I'm using the latest one from Redmagic 9 Pro.

My guy, there is literally nothing tackier than using a clear plastic case with a big old magsafe magnet visible on the back. Way to turn your $1300 phone into a gross piece of plastic!

ESR cases are excelent design. the issue people talk all about is that interfere with SPEN. it was my first choice. but i ordered torras cases insted , because of that issue. SHame

Interesting! I wonder why it's not working for you. I tried a bunch of accessories via MagSafe and used the S-Pen and found no dead spots.

Yes, I have the other ESR case, the one without kickstand, and i also experience dead spots, even without any magsafe accesories connected.

Magbak is the case to get. No clear option or color options though. However, they put shielding in so even with accessories attached the pen is supposed to work.

@@HeyMarkL depends how hard you press, if you use it lightly it has dead spots better way to test it is the device health spen test or any art or drawing app and use light pressure

I dont know what all the hype is about the backbone. Nothing beats an xbox elite series 2 controller. Can use it with phone, tablet, pc, xbox, etc
