Your exactly right, this was a 50 minute game and he just started to make aqueducts at 43 min.? I don't know what he was thinking but allowed the ottomans to out produce him. He tower rushed and had the Ottomans on the ropes if he would have had been producing more and faster speed in gathering. Just like how the Great Bombard is the Ottomans special weapon to defeat their enemy, the aqueducts are the Byzantines special to their civilization that no one else has and helps them.

Yeh it was super late to get the cisterns, made sense in early game as needed that stone for the towers but maybe if there was an earlier transition to cisterns there would be a stronger push late game 👍

Despite the late aqueducts, Duck still had a sizeable economic advantage to leverage in the end and might have won had invested in more production buildings to spend his resource bank on units.
