Thx for the video. There is a newer version of this display on the market with OSD and FRM. Was surprised that you have the old ribbion cable without OSD.

Please please please invest in learning better soldering skills! Also, a good cleaning of everything would make sure everything would run better for longer.

When you are talking about soldering skills, can you be more specific ?
@AthiHusky9 ай бұрын
@@IhorPushkarSure, almost all soldering points on the LED board look like they were soldered too cold or too short, the tin solder didn't flow right and might break. You can see on many connections is still the plating visible and is not fully coated with tin. Also, the tin formed small breads instead of something more like a Domeshape (or Volcanoshape if something pokes through). I'm not sure if the GBC Board has a big ground plane or not, that might suck away a lot of heat. But if your plans are to do more electronic repairs / upgrades you also might want to upgrade to a directly heated solder iron, the "Pine64 Pinecel" or "MINI TS101" are great and cheap starter tools for good soldering jobs.

@@AthiHusky Thanks for your recommendations, I have already ordered another soldering iron which will hold heat a lot better. This one FNIRSI HS-01

@@IhorPushkar looks pretty similar to the Pine64 one, you should have no problems using it 🙂
