I have the Mono Acoustic/Electric combo. The protection for the acoustic is fine but the electric side is very weak. Basically a Mono sleeve. That won't work for electrics where headstocks have break angles like Gibsons either. Mono makes a great dual electric bass case which I also own. So they know how to make a great double case. They just cheaped out. They do have the best shoulder straps.

The Continental is definitely tougher and sturdier, more protective, but the Vertigo has more storage space and it’s lighter weight.

Hey Taylor, thanks for the video. I'm trying to find the perfect gigbag that would contain all types of guitars; Do you think a mono or RB - acoustic (or semi-hollow) would do the job? Even though I understand that a strat/tele wouldn't fit tight in it, do you still think it's possible and somehow "safe"?

No, when a guitar is too small and heavy like a solid body it will start to put stress points and wear inside with all the rubbing that happens as it moves.

My tele fits very snugly in the electric side of my Mono M80 dual acoustic/solid-body-electric bag.

@@taylornauta He's talking about putting a solid body in a semi-hollow or acoustic case. He's not talking about using a sleeve like in the Mono.
