I really appreciate this video. I have been obsessed with Banff Springs since Links 386 Pro. I have played hundreds of rounds of virtual golf there and I still play it on Links 2003. As a disabled vet I know I will never get to see this place in person so your video let me experience it vicariously through you.

@@cyruspga I would love to see Pinehurst #2, Pebble Beach, Mauna Kea some day. Those are my favorite virtual golf courses. I played golf back in the 90's but I broke my back in a training accident in the military and it ended my ability to play the game. I laugh because I hade the same spinal fusion as Tiger Woods my L5-S1 but my L1-L2 and L2-L3 are bad as well so no bending or twisting for me.

Greywolf is 2hrs from Banff away and is a more scenoc golf course than Banff Springs

UHM...not that you aren't a great player, but there were at least 4 or 5 puts that you cut the video before they dropped in the cup.... they didn't look like they were going in either...LOL... nice 75. lmao.

haha thanks Adam for the comment! I agree...I did have a couple putts that didn't go in but they were pretty close to the hole and we were struggling for pace of play that day, I didn't really have time to line up every putt. Nice! You’ll love it there…we did not get harassed on pace of play, ok Kananaskis is incredible! 36 holes truly amazing, i made a Vlog about it as well, check course vlogs on my channel. Stewart Creek and Slivertip also really great!

Great video of the golf course, what a treat. If you are going to post your score for viewers to see, give advice, boast about your "signature draw" and "short game", as a Class A Professional, you should hold yourself to a higher standard, and putt out. You missed the par putts on 14, 15 and 17 because you missed the green on those approach shots or didn't hit your irons well. You made decent first putts but left yourself with difficult short putts for par which you need to hole out. Those short par putts are the most difficult to make in stroke play. Nobody cares if you want to give yourself "gimmes". But then don't post your score and just do a video about Banff Springs. And, don't call yourself an International Ambassador of Golf. A true ambassador would have integrity and not try to bullshit his score....My opinion.

Thanks for the feedback Chris! I was trying to balance out playing and recording a video, while playing on July 1st (Canada Day) and a busy golf course! I definitely gave myself a few putts as I was just too rushed with people chasing me behind and pace of play...next time I'll just post a casual one! Haha I totally would agree with you on this statement! I just say it for search and algorithm on KZbin, I don’t even think Banff is best in area…Kananaskis is hands down way better

OK THIS IS ONE OF THE TOP 3 GOLF COURSES IN ALL OF ALBERTA BUT IT IS NOT EVEN IN THE TOP 5 IN ALL OF CANADA. DON’T EXAGGERATE YES WELL KEPT AND SENIC BUT BOTH JASPER CC AND GREY WOLF ARE BOTH BETTER THAN THIS AND AT $ 140 CHEAPER THAN BANFF

Yeah I only use the title to get people to watch it, and it is by far the most famous Canadian course for people outside of Canada. Personally I think Kananaskis is incredible, my favorite in the region

@@cyruspga WELL I CAN SEE YOU DON’T GOLF MUCH IN WESTERN CANADA. JASPER GC IS NUMBER 1 , I WOULD PUT GREY WOLF IN PANORAMA BC 2 , BANFF 3 THAN STEWART CREEK IN CANMORE 4 KANANASKIS 5 . I HAVE 41 YEARS OF GOLF EXPERIENCE IN CANADA AND USA .
