Here is what I would like to see. I would like to see driver tests done with a robot. Test them at different swing speeds and let the numbers speak for themselves. I am not interested in what a driver with an extra stiff shaft does at speeds I will never be able to come close to. I would also like to see how they perform with different flex shafts. I think that would be a test that most people would interested in seeing.

Great video Mark. Love the new studio! One comment though, the Titleist TS1 isn't the highest MOI or "MAX" product in the Titleist driver lineup, it's simply the lightest. It's designed for golfers with slower swing speeds to help them swing faster - it also launches higher with more spin. Know you mentioned its potential inclusion briefly, but the TS2 is the highest MOI Titleist TS driver. Would have been nice to see how the TS2 fared on performance versus the others. Imagine Matt would have had more ball speed and lower spin than he did with TS1.

Been hitting the Taylormade R7 Limited w the Matrix Ozik for over 10 years. Always liked the weight, feel and sound and never needed to replace it. Used to play a lot back then, so forgiveness was never really an issue for me. Now I can't play as much and wanted something with more forgiveness. I just purchased the Mizuno ST200 because of the value coupled with that your testing showed very little variances. Another reason is I plan to switch my Taylormade irons to all Mizunos eventually.

Great videos gents! I’m a low handicap player with similar speeds to Mark. I’ve recently tried all of them in a custom fit. I bought the SZ X, some things are very subjective...I loved the look and sound over all of them. As for the all important #s, SZ X was second to Mavrik but very close but no comparison of consistency and accuracy. I did get the PX yellow counter balance shaft and it made a big difference in my numbers. Distance, feel, and accuracy. Keep up the great work!

"family announcement" absolutely hilarious 🤣 I use the speedzone (standard) and really like it, sound, feel and looks however I really don't get on well with the shaft (tensei blue) at all, just swapped it out for a Hzrdus Smoke to help with the ball flight and my tendency to LASH at the ball.

I have hit them all in January and I preferred the TM SIM 1st and the Mizuno 2nd in both performance and looks. I made my choices without knowing the prices. Amazing that the Callaway and the Titleist are 50% more than the Mizuno. One and a half times more!!

I bought a ping 410 driver, and ping 425 3 and 5 woods this weekend. Needless to say I am very happy. The driver sound is a little weird. It reminds me of hitting a baseball with an aluminum bat, has that hollow kind of metal sound. But I notice the harder you hit it the more a nice smack sound comes to it. Doesn't bother me at all though.

Dave Weedall honestly before you make that decision go in and try hitting many drivers, it all comes down to how comfortable you feel with the club. For instance I use Callaway maverick irons, but when trying drivers I couldn’t go past the TaylorMade Sim Max for me tried the maverick driver and did not like the feel of the club and the load noise it made when hitting the ball. This is my opinion though. Good luck with your game

I am interested in how Coach always comes back to how it looks and how that overrides the performance for him... I would always want a club I like the look of but surely at our level of golf the performance and cost should be the key element not just aesthetics? Or this there an argument to be made for liking the looks of the club allowing the user to perform better with it?

I have a brand new Ping G410+ with a Ping Tour 65S shaft since November but haven’t swung a club since Late October when i slipped on a mold covered boulder and tore my rotator rotator. Had surgery on 18 Dec (repaired my Infraspratus, but couldn’t repair my Supraspratus, botched up the spelling there, LMAO) and started my PT/rehab first week of Feb, 6 weeks after my surgery.. At least 2 more months before i can swing 100%.... Ive seen almost every KZbin video on the G410+ and have to believe its one of the best performers for distance and forgiveness having one of the highest MOI’s of any driver from 2019 (maybe 2020 also). So i cant really pick any driver, would like to say Ping G410+, but the Mizuno ST200 MAX & Mavrik MAX would be definite choices to test against

@darrenmiller19814 жыл бұрын
Anything winning other than the Mizuno would be a travesty - if these clubs all perform ‘the same’ for a faster swing speed pro, then for the person they’re aimed at, price should be the main consideration (looks and feel notwithstanding, but again they’re all similar in that regard). Add to that the amount of zero cost customisation Mizuno will do for shafts, grips etc and it’s a no brainer
@jaybyrne45624 жыл бұрын
I've got an st190, it's good, really good. It was cheaper than the other brands, but I loved its look, then I tested it and it was ace! So for the money to performance it was a no brainer. Others may have got a few extra yards, but 5 or 6 yds ain't worth 150 quid! 🙈

My apologies if you are referring to the weight add the end of both models
