Got me the pro package in a black friday discount last year. Glad I did because apart from extension at impact (I also struggle to take off more than 6-8 degrees compared to address, which incidentally is the same as yours) I tended to excessively rotate my forearms. Which after freezing a slow motion video was probably an unconscious attempt to square the clubface (which I keep nice and aligned with my spine almost to the top and then pull it open too much on the way back). I tried to follow the HM advice of 'knuckles down' but I found that impossible until I realized that steepening my swing a little freed up that possibility, because the second thing I found is I also pulled the clubhead way too quick inside. HM is no miracle device, but combine it with a modest launch monitor and smartphone video, you have everything you need to measure. The putting mode is also useful albeit not on a regular basis unless you're battling YIPS: I could actually measure my improvement to square the putter face when switching putters last year (from a crazy high MOI mallet to a LAB putter).

Glad you got yje Basic more relatable (read affordable) many other reviewers have the GBP1000 Pro version, I go wow that'll be useful only to find it's not the basic. I have asked HM to consider selling the individual features (suck as wrist cock) separately as I don't need all of the pro features such as teaching multi student, or even the putting as a priority. Be great to see how you progress. Cheers.

Do you have any data on how it’s improved dynamic loft numbers or face to target in degrees?

I wouldn’t advise on looking at that during the initial process. Getting that correct feeling is more than enough to worry about. We will continue and dive into the numbers as we go though. I’ve noticed a much more natural flight (previously much more dynamic loft at impact due to the extension) the big thing has been the wrist set allowing me to be more consistent through the ball: bad misses having a much tighter dispersion and less “flippy”

@@alexetchesgolf awesome thx for the reply. Sounds like similar scenario for me. I have a gcquad so I’m looking for a little better dynamic loft and a tighter face to path ratio. But I’ll just get going with the feel like you suggested..that feedback sound when your in the zone seems like a game changer. Mine arrives tomorrow! Cheers man

I stand way taller and so do alot of others, i have experienced with bending over with straight back, but feels weak.. anyone here knows the impact of standing taller, sor od hunching abit, vs bending more at the waist with a straight back? Is there an ideal position?
