For a bearded dragon in a 120 gallon tank, what is the required watts? Also, is the bulb and lamp sold seperately?
@vinnyheasman85873 жыл бұрын
Will this bulb still provide good ambient air temperature like your solar flood bulbs do ?
@ArcadiaReptile3 жыл бұрын
yes in a similar but more efficant way

for a leopard gecko do i use the halogen for day and deep heat projector at night or do i keep no heat source at night?
@ArcadiaReptile3 жыл бұрын
Hi, this depends on the ambient temps around and in your viv. If they drop below the ideal night temp DHP can be used well to bring the temps back up. It can also be used with the Halogen and will improve the spectrum and make your provision of energy more bioavailable, but you will need to stat control them.

@@ArcadiaReptile if there is no heat source at night can i feed my leopard geckos at night? Are they able to digest their food properly? I use beach rocks on the warm side to retain heat and also so he can bask on. Or does it just take a couple days for him to adapt to the daytime(heat+light+uvb) and nighttime cycle(heat if necessary)?

What is best for a uromastyx in a 40g tank? The 75 watt or something else?
@ArcadiaReptile3 жыл бұрын
i would use the PAR38 100w flood with dimming thermostat. This will easily cover the whole adult animal and is powerful enough to create high basking temps

Can I use this in combination with an Arcadia tube UVB instead of the DHP?
@ArcadiaReptile3 жыл бұрын
instead or even better, with DHP is fine

in truth, no. But it certainly reduces the risk of accidental knock over and burns.

So what is best for a bearded dragon Deep heat projector Basking lamp Or this new one????
@ArcadiaReptile3 жыл бұрын
The best is a combo of the DHP and a suitable Halogen flood lamp such as this one or the 100w PAR38.

Didn’t like it. Bought the 75watt one connected to a dimming stat, set thermostat to 30c and the light is constantly dimming and flickering. Drove me mad let alone my poor snake. Horrendous!
