Will this stretch help a horse with a healed, but very stiff, left stifle? My mare injured hers last year. It's healed but I've noticed during arena work on the right rein specifically, that her leg is VERY stiff!

I do this with a rope around the fetlock and its saves my back. good work

Unfortunately your horse will not get the full benefit of the stretch that way. The key component of it is getting them to "push through the heel" to lengthen the hamstring. But I understand the need to save your back :-)
