My favourite anime/manga is massively overlooked. It's a harem series too and I believe it was phenomenal (not particularly referring to the harem aspect). The building of the harem also gets justified late series. Certain characters do act 'tropey' and do wind up less focused on than others but that too is justified by why the main character 'builds' the 'harem' in the first place

Nice video very few people talk about this sereis. Not only was it a series that saved shouen sunday after a lot of stale content. The overall storytelling was really well done. It also has very high quality for its animation Sad to see that studio who made it go out of business. Who knows maybe we can get a proper remake one day. I cant wait to see what other memory you somehow dredge from my brain. Keep up the good work.

I am so thankful to you for giving this pure gold anime a new attention, this is the best harem anime ever ,verbatim and you my friend is the gourmet cheff of anime. thank you. unfortunately i hope TWGOK does not get remaked not because it's not good enough budget wise but because every remake has been terible like shaman king or ranma1/2 the directors can't make it execly the same that would beat the whole purpose of A remake and the original is the best of it's own so the second one well always be terible and it's and unavoideble fate.

I watched The World Only God Knows several months ago and absolutely loved it! I'm so pissed they skipped over several arcs to get to the goddess arc, I mean I love the goddess arc, but I wish we got to see these other arcs as well.

I remember stumbling across this anime through it's manga, one of my friends invited me to a small anime convention where they were selling it, i bought the manga and it's one of my favorite harem animes aside from infinite stratos.

We didn't forget. I still think TWGOK is the top harem romcom. What happened was, the 100GF kids started their agendas on Twitter and attacked anyone who said any harem romcom was better than 100GF, when they should be paying their respects to Golden Boy, To Love Ru, and Date A Live.

Wow, a new TWGOK video! And a person with a good taste - Yui and Dokuro are the best (if we consider that spoiler Dokuro's development in the last arc of the manga). As a fan of the series (and a hater of the ending) for 10 years straight, I like how new people talk about it. Great stuff.

It's a shame S3 was rushed as bad as it was. Here is hoping that us fans might get a remake. But yes I agree with the dokuro arc it was something of interest.

@@Dr.Plague Well, considering some of Wakaki's works got adaptations (356 days to wedding, 16 bit sensation) maybe we will get season 4 or remake someday. I hope they will keep initial seyu cast. Hiro Shimono is the GOAT. Also, Dokuro's arc was the best thing in the last arc. She makes her Onii-chan proud! I actually released 40 minutes video about how I don't like the ending of the manga, btw.

@@Dr.Plague Considering there's literally 100 FMC characters that have to be covered in that, having each unique set with their own chapter from time to time is definitely the best the series can manage. It's definitely better than having each only show up as a cameo, so I feel.

I enjoyed this dhow, never forget it. S1&2 felt similar vut not bad. S3 I think compared to other shows I didn't mind the S3 differences. I haven't read rhe manga but should get around to it eventually.

One of my most favorite anime of all time never forgot this masterpiece. Its a shame the studio went under so the ending will probably never be animated. Also as a minor critique i hated how some stories were cut only briefly being touched upon in recap in season 3.

Finally Someone Talking About The world God Only Knows It was my First ever Anime that get me hookup in The World of Anime but to be fair I did grew up watching Dragon ball, Doremon,Shin-chan and etc but that time I didn't know that they were called Anime So Typically This is my First ever Anime that I ever watch

To be fair as a kid I didn't really count shows like dragonball and Yu-Gi-Oh as anime. I would say my first official anime that sent me down the rabbit hole was the 2001 Fruits Basket. To this day it is still one of my favorite anime of all time. So I understand exactly what you mean.

Haque best girl. A good series with an opening I've had in my music player since a teen. I really enjoyed how the characters grow up throughout the series. Also it ends and it doesnt feel rushed. Haque best girl.

I guess you can say that only God knows about it at this point. That aside all around great show and manga, I still listen to some of its character songs on youtube from time to time. It even had the whole cover album with songs from Macross, Nadesico, Cardcaptor Sakura etc Haqua and Elsie are best girls btw.

The anime is good if you like S1 just read the manga. As he mentioned quite a bit was skipped from s2 to S3 About a whole 4 or 5 Vols give or take.

I'd say Date a Live is God only knows dating sim knowledge but with saving spirit in a different way, it's lore can take a while though. I like the filler episodes putting a good spin on things. Black Critic Guy I think said it was God only knows mixed with something else but I forget what. The male mc isn't great but he can get better once seasons go on. He has his moments of being so dull and fits jokes or so dull to sometimes stepping up well in other scenes. It varies. Fan service varies in S1&2 2 I think its the worst. S3 onwards is when things get good and a lot happens to the universe, digging deeper into things. But the slog of S2. S2 second half is building up things but first half is. A lot of eh fan service I find skippable. S1 is fair of comedy, living dynamics and character intros. The lore gets better around S3 and 4 but starts expanding around S2 even if one character starts doing her great own path/goal during S1 besides whatever the others are doing to capture the spirits. Humour can be hit and miss. I think season 2's humour is really bad but S1 has its fair moments and S3/4 balances the seriousness more and has less humour but it's good as I find the humour not that great so it being cut back and Rae I think was a good thing, I prefer it that way.

For me, The World God Only Knows is better than between Sekirei and Girls Bravo. Along with Infinite Stratos is one of my favorite harem mecha anime show of 2011-13.

I started that series long ago with the manga. When I mentioned dropping I was referring to the manga, which I dropped around Vol 9. The anime was fine but I won't be expecting a season 2. Let me say this. If you like 100 kanajo don't let me stand in your way. But I'm not going to keep up with it weekly. If it ever ends then I will re-read it but not until then.
