But from those i learned that the birth rate compared to the death rate is terrible and at the same time the population is getting older. This is due to the culture of japan that prioritises work achievement over family ones, japan has always had that but the women being able to work made it a huge problem, plus you can get that in japan it's not "normal" or well viewed to just go talk to someone you don't know, from a european perspective we would say that they are overly polite. The government seeing their population literaly declining and dying they took some measures like convention made to train/help people to meet others, they also promote a lot meeting other individuals. Something funny/sad i saw is a fake wedding company that prepares false wedding for people that wants to get married but don't have a partner or can't bother the time to find someone. i recommend looking this up as my informations are getting old now and some might have changed. It's really interesting to see that japan have very special problems compared to the rest of the world (their population is dying and they are the only country that have "overwork" as a legitimate and legal cause of death).
