I have this bass in blue and is currently my favorite live bass.

The previous versions that had gotoh tuners, I find where more of a plus for these entry basses. Somehow I feel the new versions are a downgrade in that regard, probably a decision made to keep the bass affordable but I don't really know.
@taylorhilyard8661Ай бұрын
Yea it’s definitely not as good as the previous gotoh hardware. They’re decent lightweight style tuners but I will say they’re still really nice for the price and are filling a nice gap in the market since squires are $500+ now.
@jimboc669Ай бұрын
They're still really good for the money. No way you're finding a bass this good for under £200 anywhere else.
@taylorhilyard8661Ай бұрын
@@jimboc669 oh for sure. No argument there. I wanted one for some of the more seedy places I play and I’ve been playing it a lot more than I thought I would.
@H0kram7 күн бұрын
Yes, inhouse so definitely cheaper than japanese made Gotoh. It makes sense for me however I wish they would have made a 41mm proper precision neck. I don't like this trend of putting jazz neck basses everywhere. There's already a jazz version of this very bass too. But I'm opened to anyone's experience with " D shaped " neck at 38mm nut. Maybe they do feel beefier than the C...I don't know.

So glad that they made the left handed in black! We left handers simply cannot abide colours OTHER than black, and have no idea why righties confuse themselves with all those choices! /s

Just ordered mine. Although I would have preferred it in Daphne blue, at least Harley Benton offer a lefty P bass, which is more than can be said for Squier!

Just curious if any of the U.S. viewers have ordered guitars from Thomann, and if so, any issues with delivery?
@joshuaowens5228Ай бұрын
I haven’t personally bought anything yet but I know a couple people that have and they didn’t have any issues. I have heard some KZbin reviewers complain about QC and having to send things back as much as twice to get it right. But they were based Europe and it wasn’t just with HB basses there was an Ibanez and Warwick in the mix

I had no issues, but delivery is very expensive. But it’s worth it if you are getting more than one item, because the shipping kinda levels out eventually. Also, when I ordered the exchange rate was favorable.

I’ve live In Puerto Rico ( USA territory) for 1 instrument cost around $80 shipping + tax for 2 instrument goes around $40 . I bought 1jb & 1 Pb both stds 3:18 x $$280 that was on early 2023 I’ve to do a lot of neck & fret job but sounds good enough

I bought two months ago MB-4 as a lefthanded i had not much choice. This is simply awesome how much we gain from this 150usd bass. I also have Maruszczyk Elwood which is amazing bass but don`t see so many different between them. Now i looking for this MV series because is available also as left handed.

Looks, sounds grt. What would make your vids stand out from the rest, is if the neck is heavy. Because we can't feel it. Nor see it. You do it occasionally. It would be grt if you did this on every show and tell. 🤙
