As a Florida A&M University graduate , home of the Rattlers, I am very pleased to see this video. I am going to pass it onward. If formerly enslaved African Americans were able to attend college, create them and leave them for our generation and generations to come, we owe them a great debt by taking full advantage of the education they’ve to offer.

You left out the Interdenominational Theological Center, this house is the most black seminaries in the country, and is right beside Clark Atlanta. It contains the Morehouse School of religion, CH Mason Theological Seminary, Johnson C Smith Seminary and a few more,, it is also a part of the Atlanta University Center Consortium*

It pisses me off when they showed the state of Washington talking about Washington DC. How the hell they do not know that but trying to educate. Looks like whoever made this failed geography
@charlesflack678523 күн бұрын
I love the content on HBCUs but the identification of some HBCU locations are wrong. For example, Washington DC is not located in the State of Washington and the State of Georgia is not the Country of Georgia. Regardless, it is a great video.

Thank you so much for the history behind the HBCU, but from the inception when blacks didn’t have but because of some churches and white who afforded blacks to receive an education in essence free, today is it affordable for blacks to enter without the burden of cost? And with the full scope of history still today we are far behind from what our ancestors endured. With all the education there’s an ocean gap wider than the continent of Africa why? All the money far exceeded our past, we don’t help the less fortunate today 😢why? The black culture was far ahead of their times why? Because they had unity, there’s none today. Why? I’m in my early 70 not that 0:16 smart can I go to an HBCU? I’m social security. What school will accept me without the requirement of taking a test. Did our past had to take test? Yet they became writers investors poet the list is limitless their skills and talent was unstoppable singers dancers musicians etc. what answer can you afford to me with clear understanding? Still I will not take away from this information you provided it is valuable 😊

As someone who is from DC and went to Howard you have to do better when showing Washington DC first of all you said the state of Washington and showed a view of Washington State in the northwest that is not Washington DC. Trying to educate folks please get it right

Mississippi snubbed and abused again. Tougaloo College (1869) was omitted from this video. Also, PLEASE learn how to properly pronounce Alcorn State. It's ALL-corn as in Always Alcorn. Just a reminder, let's display Black excellence when we post videos about Black excellence. Jackson State, GO TIGERS! 😎👍❤

I must say showing the country of Georgia versus the actual US state of Georgia is a major flaw and needs to be corrected immediately if the video is to be considered trustworthy. How such a mistake could’ve been made is beyond my comprehension-yet and still-do correct that mistake. It takes away from the authenticity of the presentation.
