Which headphones do you use for podcasting?

I use my old Bose Q15, but I am really interested in the Rode NTH-100

8 min 40 sec, and you did not mentioned sound quality ONCE. "Everybody that has these, love these" - what does that even mean? How does NTH100 sound like? How do they compare to M50X? Not mentioned once, not even once. Do you do TV reviews and for 8 mins not talk about its picture quality too?

Thanks for the review. Have you reviewed the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro? It's in the same price range as the NTH-100 and the ATH-M50X. It would be great if you compare all three to each other

Why you consider M50X as the "gold standard"? They are V shaped and not supposed to be studio monitors at all. Have you ever seen the FR graphs of M50X?

I use the M50X, but I've noticed a bit of extra color in the low end. My voice is quite bassy, so I have found the M50X headphones are great at helping me remove some of that as I'm EQ-ing my own voice. I'm very curious about the RØDE headphones though. I love their products (I have 3 different RØDE mics), so I'd be interested in comparing these to my M50X's.

I just bought a pair of Behringer BH 470 Studio Monitoring Headphones to replace my Sennheiser HD 280 Pros in my podcast setup, because they hurt my head during long livestreams. They were $19.99 at Sweetwater. They're very comfortable and sound good enough for monitoring voices during livestreams. I'll still use the 280s for editing and more precise monitoring.

The Audio Technica ATH-M50x’s are colored and bass heavy. I love them but they are not the audio technicas to pick for a flat sound monitoring sound. Go M40x and save $50 if you want the audio technica look. Otherwise Sennheiser, Sony, Beyerdynamic, Tascam and many more are better options. Moondrop quarks are $13 on Amazon and they are freaks of nature for the price.

Great content as always guys. I do feel you left out another great contender, though. I know for a fact (as an audio professional) that I've seen the Sony MDR7506 headphones in radio stations and in audio/video classrooms in the past as the "go to" studio headphones. They are also at an attractive price point (priced at just under $100 as of this video airing). Keep up the good work!

The Rode broke 3 days after I reeived. Good sound, but poorly built. i did my homework and I nivestigated, lots of people are complaining about the clips breaking. Check it out ....I think I may go for the Audio Technica 😀
