That No Beans Chili! 😂 In case you haven’t heard of it, let me introduce you to Texas Frito Pie. Heat the chili and pour over Fritos, top with cheese. Optional other toppings you like on chili. Sorta like chili cheese fries meets nachos. My favorite is to top with onions, serve in a bowl as a dip, and eat with Fritos scoops. Your chili looks delicious, and the cornbread waffles so fun! Seems your family enjoyed it. 😀

I just put a chili recipe in the crockpot with one can of beans and 1 and 1/2 cups dried lentils. I used the Fall, orange and brown lentils. The recipe also has sweet potatoes in it.

Have you ever tried pinto beans or canned brown lentils for chili? So good, and no tummy issues like with the dark red kidney beans that sometimes happens. Oh, and I use a little sugar or splenda to cut down on the acidity of all the tomatoes. Keep up the great content!

I have never liked chili. I can't stand beans. But, I'll tell ya. The one recipe I wish I had was mama's chili recipe. I know. Why would I care, if I don't like chili? It was mama's favorite dish as I was growing up and it has always reminded me of her when I smell chili. Plus, it recipe is so unique that I think a lot of folks would like to have it and she never had a problem sharing it. If I ever get my hands on the written recipe again, which there is a small possibility that I could, I'll be sure to send it over to you. ❤️
