Glad you guys got to enjoy some snow! I'm in Oklahoma and we got ours Thursday and enjoyed it through Friday. Also, I have never added vegetables of any kind to my chicken and dumplings! I guess it's all about what you were raised on! I've also gone the easy route of using canned biscuits for the dumplings...but they're still good! Hope Titus gets to preach Sunday in spite of the snow! God bless you all!

Wow!! I made chicken and dumplings last weekend when we got the 11" of snow. It definitely hits the spot. We just got another 3 inches yesterday and they say a wintry mix tomorrow. DO NOT WANT ICE!! Y'all have fun in the snow, stay warm and safe! God Bless.

😂 y’all are hilarious. first those biscuits look good! We live in foothills of NC just a short trip from Blowing Rock and we are forever missing the snow. BUT this time we got 2” ❤ ❄️ we had huge flakes that we so beautiful. Love watching y’all. Our church closed for tomorrow. The temps stayed lower, roads are still bad on the side roads. I was born and raised in north Florida, I had never heard of veggies in chicken and dumplings until I married my husband. He was from Tennessee, his grandma put frozen peas in hers. I'm glad you got your snow, it looked so fun!

We were hoping for snow in Columbia (SC), but just sleet and flurries. ☹ I never put vegetables in my chicken and dumpling, then I see you don't make them like I do, mine are the paper-thin ones. I’m in Woodstock Ga- we made a huge pot of ham and bean soup with cornbread muffins. We watched the snow as it fell and accumulated to about 2-21/2 in deep. It was beautiful!
