Great list, man! I think this year the horror community got spoiled by both quality and quantity of films. I like how many hidden gems you featured on this list that I haven’t seen yet, so thank you for that! I also appreciate the variety of films you included, not just the strictly traditional horror genre movies, but films that are adjacent to horror. Wonderful work! Looking forward to checking those out!

Good list bro! I agree with you on several of these movies. Personally the best and my favorite horror of 2024 is Stopmotion. I know it is from 2023 but the main release on theaters was on early 2024, so… I really enjoyed this film! It made me feel very interesting things, also I find it thought provoking and very artistic, in my opinion. The stop motion animation is pretty amazing! And the main actress was incredible! ❤ But anyway… cool video! Cheers man!

My top list: 1. The Soul Eater - I loved this one little known French mystery horror. Imagine something like The Crimson Rivers or Insomnia 2. Red Rooms - minimalistic thriller/horror with top notch direction 3. Late Night with the Devil - amazing acting, great screenplay Then I liked Longlegs, Smile 2 and Oddity but I guess there are some obscure movies that I would like even more.

I feel like Late Night With The Devil is still underrated. I know it's not as hard hitting as we like as horror fans, but I think it's insane originality, and fantastic performances...feel like a movie that holds up for years to come. The Substance is definitely #1, I'm with ya there. Haven't seen Nosferatu yet, but those two seem to be battling it out for top spot. What a crazy great year for horror! It's getting too big, and too well done, for the old fucks at The Academy to ignore any longer

haha yea it would be nice if the academy would start acknowledging horror, although I gave up on them a long time ago.

@@TheHauntedBeard Yeah, I really like this Mockumentary, And surprisingly out of all the title I put on the list this was the only movie that genuinely scare me. I also quite surprised by how well the mockumentary hold it's feel throughout all the title, usually in any other titles I've followed they tend to gradually lose itself, or just straight up going of the rail.

As an atheist, I loved all the facts Hugh Grant presented to his visitors. Obviously, I don't condone his other actions, but then again it was THEM that came to his home, instead of minding their own damn business. I think there's a pretty good lesson in that. Religious folks have a whole problem with minding their own damn business, especially when it comes to politics and lawmaking . Heretic A+
