Ronna Burger, a professor of philosophy at Tulane University, gives a talk entitled "The Best Human Life: On Aristotle's Ethics I.5" at Emory University on Feb. 12, 2013. Dr. Burger is the author of "Aristotle's Dialogue with Socrates: on the Nicomachean Ethics" (University of Chicago Press, 2008, paperback edition, 2009).

Wow! It seems to me, listening to Prof Ronna, that there will always be more questions than answers to ethics. Perhaps philosophers are here not to find answers but to keep asking the questions that put people thinking until they have found what works or what the next question should be.

why would you ever suggest that you want to bring back your paragraph about how the one who wants to give up learning for television was a way to say that you want not to understand the being of the beautiful, the discovery of being, etc? i don't want to deal with kant before i see what you want to do: 1) the emergence of the problem, 2) solutions to the problem, and 3) applications to the solution. you already understand what it is because the good is never falling short of the beautiful? you are the beautiful? with others of the same quality? the wavelength that has you with the UC-CU-UC-CU-UC .... not funny with the way you like to have your languages and your coffee.. nips? for gone-ee-azz? no need for razmatazz when they are chewy... it's just what about lincoln? what about the epideixis? what about the way you want to see aviculture? what about stephanie? stephanow? the poicephalus? not the vasa? that's not the closest? is it? if it ist.. not munich for chicago? not for your euthyphro paper that went missing? loved by the gods b/c they love him? or lovable inherently? ngnb.... not an oxford nor a cambridge... not even a way to tell what you would make yourself perplexed over... don't see anna.. cognition not good for just one ton...?
