I bought a set of Toyo Open Country R/T 33 x12.50 from these guys in 2017. I rotate on the reg and have 72000 miles on them. Still plenty of tread. I will say they stick to the road well and have no issues in the mud, sand, or rain (no snow in FL). They are on a 2014 GMC 1500 Z71. I tow pretty regularly a couple different small boats. I’m about to buy another set as they seem to be dry rotting on some of the edges. I’m no tire expert, but I have owned plenty of much lesser tires. IMHO I will be hard pressed to buy any other tire for my trucks. Ill be glad to answer any questions regarding my ownership of these tires.

The toyo rts perform very well off-road. I also am very pleased with performance in the rain. However, in the snow was absolutely embarrassing. They were like road slicks. I’m new to the truck world,Which of these would hold up on gravel roads? I do a lot of camping in the summer months & have to travel down a pretty long gravel road. Love the toyo R/T on my Fx4 f150... they aren't as good in the rain as I'd like though. That's my only gripe.

cheers for the vid, tossing up between the toyo rt and nitto ridge, out of the two which would you say is the quietest and the better option for economy and in your opinion best overall, also you never stated the weight of the toyo not that I heard anyway thanks keep up the informative vids

Were a fan of the nitto ridge grapplers! Check them out here! www.customwheeloffset.com/store/tires?&brand=Nitto

The best part is that those tires are really only 28" tall. That's 1/2 Fuller's.

3/4 tons come with E from the factory. And of coarse f load range has a higher weight it has 2 more plies.

I want to get Nitto Ridge Grappler in 285 75R16, can get this size in F rating and what am I looking for a set of 4. Thank you - MH
@CustomOffsetsTV4 жыл бұрын
They are not offered in a F load with that size!

Ik they’re obviously known as an all terrain. But the bfg ko2 are the most aggressive all terrain there is and I don’t understand why they’re not categorized In the hybrid group of tires. Bc with the aggressive side wall tread they have they will run through mud with most all mud tires until you get into the real aggressive tires such as the mud graps, gladiators, and super swampers.

Have the Ridge Grapplers 295 60 20. Love the look. They're surprisingly very quiet. They're brand new still. All I've driven in is rain so far. Had some tire spin today pulling off a small hill while turning. Wasn't kicking it either. Could've been just the circumstances. Other than that, they've been great so far

What’s the “E” and “F” load means besides of how much you can load? Which one is more softer for smoother driver? I am going for only looks for my Passport... I know that I can fit 265/60/18. Regards
@CustomOffsetsTV4 жыл бұрын
There really won’t be a difference in ride quality between the two. They both are pretty firm but the F rated can carry more weight
@erick16704 жыл бұрын
Custom Offsets ... thank you for the quick reply 👍👍👊 so, the “F” would be heavier tire because it’s able to carry more load?
@CustomOffsetsTV4 жыл бұрын
Yes!

Another difference is the p.s.i.... a lot of E rated tires are 65 psi and those of us that need 80 psi are pretty limited

I have the Toyo RT in a 35x12.5-17 and they are more then half way gone bald is less then 20k and feel squishy even at Max psi I got a load range E and it's on. 3/4 ton ram diesel. Have you guys seen this. They tires handle great with great traction and I want another set of hybrids but spending 1400$ every 30k is crazy. Any insight or recommendations

Kevin Noll Okay thanks I wasn’t sure and wanted someone’s opinion. I’m going to get the Nitto Ridge grapplers next week and I hope to be hitting some mud soon.

Kevin Noll Ya I just got my first car and it’s a 2011 f150 I did a leveling kit and some light cubes and stuff and then when it came to tires I finished my search with the nittos because even though they don’t have a warranty people seem to get a lot of life out of them.

I have a 2019 Colorado WT stock suspension, I like the look of this hybrid tires, question, can I fit a 33 inch tire in my truck without lifting my truck? If so how wide can it be? I want to put some 20 inch rims on it

That is a very hard choice! Both are perform equally in the sand, these tires in general are very similar!

Ill never buy anything other then the Arturo’s ever again. Over a year on my ram and they’ve held up amazing. Didn’t rotate them for 10k miles and they have no real chopping to them. 20k miles and a few burnouts and they’ve got at least two winters left in them.
