In my opinion bamix is the mos easy to clean You can effortlessly unlatch blade, unscrew cage and you are left witch metal stick to wash so yeah Other you can't disassemble like this one, so some food will build up in crevices with mold or something, over years

I subbed because the video tells you upfront what the best blender is instead of hiding it at the end of the video. I stayed till the end because it was informative.

LOVE my Bamix, have had it for years! And all you have to do to clean it is dip it into a container of water (with or .without soap) and just turn it on for a few seconds - it cleans itself.

I had a Bamix, and it lasted about three years, and then it quit. I then bought a KitchenAid immersion blender. The first time I used it, I heard something go "clink" in my smoothie (yogurt, banana, protein powder, water). The blade had broken and a piece was in the mixture. Thankfully, I had heard the noise or else I might have swallowed the blade piece. I have also had a Cuisinart immersion blender (it lasted about 18 months) and a Braun Multiquick immersion blender (it lasted about five years). Now I have the Breville in the video. It has been with me for almost ten years now and it still works perfectly, and I am very pleased with it. I just wish that some of the blenders did not include the chopper, whisk, etc., as I never use any of those parts.

I love the Bamix. It’s treating customers as mature adults by giving functionality priority over safety.

In my opinion, if you can't keep your free hand away from the business end of one of these mixers, you shouldn't be allowed in a kitchen either way. Or if you really need to poke around near the knife just unplug it first it's really that simple.
@MarkHernandez620243 жыл бұрын
Great video. The bamix is smaller, more powerful and has a longer/deeper reach (it can be submerged up to the top gasket, just below the two speed buttons). The entire wand is sealed up to that upper gasket. It is very easy to use. You put it in a pot of hot soup and do not move it, the food will be drawn into the blade. I burned out too many stick blenders until I finally parted with more money and bought the better device. Easy peasy to clean. Just remember to oil it once a month (as per the manufacturer's instructions) and it should last 10, 20, 30 years.

I have a Bamix. While pureeing soup I scratched a good pot. I did not use the Bamix then for a while and bought a new pot. I noticed a scratch on this pot too. Is there a trick to pureeing soup. I did try to keep the Bamix from touching the bottom of pot. The bottom of the Bamix is sharp - would love your opinion. Thank you.
@YourBestDigs5 жыл бұрын
The Bamix is a tricky beast, to be sure. The edge should only be exposed if you're mixing at an angle or on a sloped side of a bowl, so if you keep it at the bottom straight up and down that should help prevent scratches.

alll these are great with Bamix being the best, but it is also the most expensive! I can't believe the prices now... I stupidly gave mine away, but I didn't take the time to really learn it.. I think it was less than a $100 in mid 80s when I purchased.. Whose budget has 400$ today to go Bamax? or Breville or KitcheAid?
@msr11163 жыл бұрын
Ikr....at that price another hundred or two buys a Vitamix with a super powerful motor that's reliable. A blender with many uses whose advantages far outweigh the hassle of its cleaning process.

Why did you upload this "The Best Immersion Blender of 2021" in 2019/01/17?
@kasperhansen44725 жыл бұрын
The only drawback on the Bamix is that You are forced to wash it by hand...:-) Which takes about 10 seconds. How long does it take to put the extender into the dishwasher and when its clean take it out and put it back on.....
@YourBestDigs5 жыл бұрын
Good point! It is a pretty different approach to cleaning that we though people should be aware of. I kind of prefer hand-washing this sort of stuff, but that's me. ;)
@natechongsiriwatana89285 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure they said that you couldn't take it off; thus the need to handwash.
@YourBestDigs5 жыл бұрын
@@natechongsiriwatana8928 Right! The motor shaft is fixed, but the blades themselves are easy to take off. The "cage" takes some spinning to unscrew, so it's probably easier to hand-wash.

@@YourBestDigsper manufacture, just turn it on in a cup of hot water to clean, then your done in literally 10 seconds
@JunNights Жыл бұрын
One comment on the bamix... Youre meant to put it into soapy water.. and then turn it on (it basically cleans itself)... And then you just rinse off any leftover soap and you dry it and then put it back in its holder (... its also best to take off the used and cleaned blade instead of letting it remain on)... otherwise..

@@aguafria9565 maybe they last a long time, but do they perform as well as the much more powerful options? I'm looking into a new immersion blender to replace my old kitchenaid. Its lasted me about 10 years and only cost like 30-40 bucks. It has 200 watts and thats the same or more as the Bamix models. 150-200 watts is low for a corded stick blender. Braun makes a 700w one...how can Bamix compete with only 150w output?
@turtlepowersf3 жыл бұрын
I've been getting ads on Facebook for Bamix. They make me want to be a believer, but only 150-200w output doesn't sound too promising. I don't want my stick blender to be struggling.

Is there any brand with a blender head attachment that is smaller than 2 inches or 5cm? I'm trying o fit one of these into a standard wide mouthed nalgene bottle?
@michellekelly29373 жыл бұрын
The blender head and blade needs to be a certain size to effectively chop and puree. My sister had a cheap blending stick with a smaller head, and it was useless. If you need a bigger blending cup, use a glass Pyrex measuring cup (4 cup is a nice size!), and then you can just pour it into your nalgene bottle. The Pyrex measuring cups work great!
