It's just incredible how Sunhelm has grown on me... I'd use it with Diseased Remastered and Extanded, Campfire, Hunterborn and Trading and NPC Reaction for Hunterborn (as I prefer Hunterborn to the newer Simple Hunting Overhaul... Sorry Jayserpa, I love to take EVERYTHING out of my preys' guts ;D ), and other mods turning the game into a messed up madness inducing machine (there's a fun mod proposing trepanation to lower your madness level! Sweet, sweet trepanation OwO or else your character goes on a killing spree)

@@RANDAMULOL tbf good luck playing any skyrim modded without expecting a bit of nudity. CBBE quite literally makes your character be fully nude and you probably need it for 99% of the armor/clothing mods in the game.

I always disable the cold mechanics from Sunhelm since they're too forgiving. I install Frostfall and set it to Hardcore to have the true survival experience. I also prefer Hunterborn for all the mechanics it adds, but the hunting mod you suggested works best with the rest of the mods.

There's a mod called "Harsher Sunhelm Cold" which makes the cold more punishing.

Just a suggestion but to go with your weapon degradation mod I highly recommend hammer and Whetstone portable tempering. The mod adds smithing Hammers and whetstones that can be crafted or purchased that provide three uses of tempering each allowing you to temper in the field. I also highly recommend a mod that changes the tempering requirement from ingots to oil which is more realistic especially in the case of swords as you wouldn't just shove another Ingot between your sword and the grindstone you would use oil. So a mod that also makes vendors sell Dwarven Oil more frequently would be beneficial

I've tried all the lantern mods and Chesko's is still my favourite, especially now that some nice person has made an updated and fixed version. What I most miss in the other alternatives, is the option to carry your lantern in your left hand. There's nothing more immersive to me than wandering around a dark dungeon holding up a lantern < 3

So one thing I have to do with the cold. part of the mod..8 seems to be good. if it goes above that I have problems whenever I have to go somewhere unless I use a boat. which there are mods for that. But anyway 1.0 or 2.0 too high.

I had/have the CYC mod. The animal was invisible and I just thought oh something broke lol. Managing mods through MO2 is a lot more work compared to Vortex (I only switched because some mods I use play nicer through MO2.)

i prefer to run the more steamlined one by meh321 as unfortunately with loot and degredation and mod added weapons that you cannot craft, once they break....there is no recovering from that and you are Sool but with the lightweight one, you can just retemper it out out 0 damage instead of it being split into pieces.

Why I make my game file easy? Because the one game we all play called Life in Reality is hard enough and I don't play a video game for the purpose of a challenge.

It's as challenging as you make it Sunhelm is very configurable so you can decide what features or challenges you want Campfire doesn't add difficulty per se to the game, but if you want to learn how to build a campfire, you'll have to spend about 20 minutes in tutorials Degradation is completely optional if you want to download it And the rest of the mods are mostly for immersion, adding only animations and such, no other complications

I'm still trying to figure out the Scarlett buildable ship home I reclaimed from pirates in a cave and parked outside Solitude infront of my Harbor Estate which is an open home inside a bridge but my favorite ship is the Sea Dragon because all of my companions will follow me inside and I can have them live there as my crew and one of them is Jessica Alba she is a badass 360 kicking all the bandits like it's nothing one punching dragons for me with a blunt in her mouth because Whiterun now has a dispensary.
