Bruh. You are SUCH a blessing! God put me on to sharing my music so I've been songwriting and gigging. He's been prodding me to learn how to produce my own music for myself and I must admit, navigating my way around recording music has been a nightmare - I've learned more in this 30 minutes than I've learned in the last year of trying to figure it out independently! Thank you 🙏🏾🇯🇲🇬🇧

I’m 61 in July .. I played piano at school 100 yrs ago lol ... I still remember the basic and I have Yamaha tyros and full-size dgx620 keyboard but my partner john bought me the akai mini and I really like it .. I’ve watched your tutorial videos and I want to thank you for helping an old guy to get back into the groove .. I’ve never used my garage band properly although I did mess around with it and have done some utube videos well about 24 of them lol .. not brilliant prob bit rubbish but hey .. I’ve set up the akai on my iMac 2011 and it seems to work ok so I’m gonna learn garage band properly now I’m retired and use the akai as well as my other keyboards and maybe sing ...noooooo... I can sing honest...:) lie to write my own stuff and do some covers ... thank you for giving me the kick I needed to get me back into music production .. keep doing it young man ur great ...

Just found your channel and really love your attitude man! I feel like a lot a people are scared to get into music because they think they'll be looked down upon by people who already know what they're doing. It's so refreshing to see a crazy talented producer like yourself rooting on beginners and being so enthusiastic about helping people of all skill levels and backgrounds. Keep up the heat! And an intermediate/advanced GarageBand tutorial would be fire!!!

im gonna be honest, I just had a breaking point. I've always wanted to make music, and after trying rapping at not doing so well I have decided to turn to producing after meeting an actually good rapper/producer my age. However, I have no music talent and I truly didn't know where to start. I got my 32 key midi in the mail, and with this tutorial imma start making some fire. Thank you

I actually thought this was an older video but its barely near 2 weeks since posted. Made it this video just in time as I would've wasted a good bit more time right now figuring out garage band. Now I'm on to beat structure/song structure. 👍

okay, so that was just about the best tutorial run through on GarageBand that I have seen. thanks. something that I am wondering is. a flute’s transitions from note to note does not sound like a flute played. the notes are keys on keyboard played, not air blown at the start and stops. or like with strings, they are to be softer begining and endings in and out even if played as staccato hard. does garageband allow for those changes so they sound like real instruments ? I was thinking about getting an Akai MPK2 , to built orchestra compositions, but I don’t want things to sound so Mini , or $49.98 sounding. I want John Barry like sounds.

kkrex, thanks so much for the introduction to GrargeBand. Best eveer starting point I have ever found on the net. Have you ever come across an applicaition that can "listen" to a recorded song and then names the chords? My nephew does not read music but writes songs, plays them (guitar) in his band. I have recorded his work and have always wanted to be able to publish his songs in note form.
