The best instax square camera for 2023

Not to be pedantic, but facts are important. There is no such thing as full-frame or 35mm equivalence for aperture. F/5.6 lets in the same amount of light on 35mm, Instax Square, 8x10, 16x20, 110, and any other camera. If it didn’t, an external light meter would have to be different for each recording medium size instead of being universal. I believe what you are trying to say is that f/5.6 on this camera yields a similar depth of field to f/2.8 (2.7 according to the math) on a full frame or 35mm camera. Otherwise - a nice review of the camera.

Yes i meant the depth of field, the amount of light coming in is standard depending on F / T stops. thanks for clarifying ! 👍

Yea tricky lighting situations can be real hard. Especially since instant film can be less forgiving. But i suppose its in these instances where the user behind the camera matter

Excellent presentation, good photography composition. However the image quality from the instax is atrocious.
