Case goes extremely well with the black version. It’s also really tight around the phone. The back is a little slippery, so especially if you live in colder climates this can be a problem. The sides for me are grippy enough. Goes well with the spigen glass protector

I just got the frosted black case and I must admit it is the best iPhone case I’ve ever got. I always get cheap cases under $20, but now I see the difference. This case just feels good! 🎉

It is so good! I am using it all the time and never take it off. A new company just sent me one of theirs, with camera button, so we'll see about that, but the Spigen is absolutely fantastic.

Great video! I'm not sure what to get for my natural titanium 16 PM though, frosted black or graphite? This one looks amazing on your black phone, but I think contrast would be too big with my silverish color (I know graphite is darker but it looks more natural with titanium color imo).

I wish this case came with a non magsafe design or at least the colour of the magsafe ring matched the four colour options of the phone. Same with the colour of the camera control button

@@PhillipSkraba not if you hace a blue or gold phone. I'm not a big fan of the ring. They need to blend it in with the colour of the phone. Nothing girly about it. It'll just look more sleek. It'll be like there is no ring there at all

It’s actually pretty nice. Physically it’s still really grippy due to the edges and the back feels nice and smooth. Visually the black glossy edges look bad ass and the rear looks very elegant. I like it.

@@PhillipSkraba i have a condition where my hand sweat whenever I'm holding something that's glossy. Thats why I cant have anything glossy :( I wish the side would be like TPU so at least it's less slipery when my hand sweat :(

ive had it for 2 days and i have had no pinky pain. i can feel the cutouts for the volume on the bottom just like any case its not the softest but i dont notice it in any bad way really

Yes, the cutouts are there, and as it's not a soft silicone like the official cases it's noticeable, but it doesn't feel painful in anyway, and it'll outlast an official Apple case by light years.

It'll outlast the Apple case by light years, and it is fully silicone, whereas the Apple case has a hard plastic back which'll scratch the hell out of your phone, mixed with silicone sides.

How are the buttons?? I hate how hard to push and spongy the buttons (volume up/down, sleep/wake, action) are on the Apple oem clear plastic phone.

Perfect review and awesome angles and close ups. One question about microphone/speaker alignment: Have you noticed that the holes are not exactly in the center of the cutout? They seem to be little on the higher side. It looks like that on your video but I can’t tell exactly from what I see. I wonder, because all Apple Silicone cases do not align with my Iphone speaker grills and I’m starting to worry that maybe I have a faulty one 🤡

Thanks! I’m looking at it now and it seems pretty much perfectly aligned with the mics and speakers, maybe a fraction of a millimetre off, but close enough. Yes, I noticed the Apple silicone case was worse when it came to alignment which is odd, and mine was 100% official.

Good protection but it feels quite bulky, I had a similar one but ended up with one with the left/right sides exposed and only the top/bottom protected with a black rubbery plastic and back is see-though matte plastic, nice to be able to feel that titanium! - it also has a tiny hole to thread a lanyard which is very handy for activities like skiing.

I too had the same case in the video and I’m going to be returning it. It offers great protection and has coverings for all of the buttons, including the new camera button. But it is too bulky. It also makes the phone heavier.

I’m mostly bothered to have the whole phone covered, so come next September I can sell it again as new. Feeling the titanium isn’t something that excites me, I just want it to look good and be well protected, especially with my kids.

@@PhillipSkraba I think Caudabe Sheath cases feel much better BUT they have a cutout for the new button. It’s not as crazy as other cases though. Very very very durable with better grip too. And yes, I’m a minimalist and think the 16 Pro Max is large enough without a case haha That tiny difference in size from last year’s model to this year’s makes the difference for me. So I prefer thin cases.

I really like the Spigen cases though and I've used them for over 10 years now, and now that is has the camera control button life is good again, that cut out was starting to piss me off. As for size, I'm not too bothered personally, but I know some people like to go fully naked, which hurts me haha, as my kids have dropped my phone so many times or knocked it out of my hand.
