Love this video so much. I'm torn between getting the iPhone 15 or the DJI pocket 3. Watched the pocket 3 photography video and I want to know if I can get good results from editing without Lightroom without Luminary Neo. You have Great information here. Are these settings for drone photography only, or are they settings for everyday photos and videos?

I don't know a lot about cameras, but I know enough to know that all of these settings are good starting points for pros. Many of them are not useful for everyday users though. Especially preserve settings - pro photographers will change things and think about things during a shoot, but most of us just want things to be "normal" and so will not be thinking through all these settings each time we go to use our phone as a camera. I use HEIF max, HDR on and vivid filter to try to get the best pics (on average) - I am just a wanderer and so my pics are of cities and landscapes mostly. Greetings from Auckland!

Every photo will be a little different. I recommend watching other tutorials. The settings might work really well for him but he’s in Ireland. Depending on where you’re at in the world, there’s different weather, color shades, skin tones, which all affect how your settings should be. On a bright sunny day your settings will have to be adjusted as opposed to a cloudy one

Pro raw is nice if you need to upload them 😂 I just use s24 ultra for photos and iPhone I use for gaming and video. Is ok to have some camera but is impossible iPhone to fight with S 24 ultra . Make the same photo with both phones and after just zoom and you will understand what I’m talking about. 😊

New IP 15Pro user here. confused about the Preserve Settings controls. Why would I want to preserve settings like Exposure Adjustment, Night Mode, Portrait Zoom, etc. when they probably change from shot to shot, day to day, light to light, etc.?

Great question! I find this useful because if you have changed mode from photo to video, and adjusted to exposure but then get a phone call. By default, when you end the call and re-open the app everything will have reset. So by preserving them settings you won't need to configure everything again.
