To confirm, the 4ag throttles you have are silver top. The blacktop have an oblong port shape, the silver top are just round.

Just a quick question regarding the dyno numbers. Do you know if that car has any other mods? Panic itbs definitely produce better numbers with bigger exhaust headers. I wonder what power that engine would be with stock manifold. Considering stock manifold is built very well Thanks for the video comparison 👌

I read there is a restriction in the stock exhaust manifold, where the pipes are joined on the inside. Can somebody confirm it? I read it can be corrected and it makes a difference.@@DoctoredGarage

How tall is the whole ITB assembly for the panic made? I bought a blacktop beams for my mr2 and I need to know firewall clearance. like from the flange to the velocity stack opening

Thanks! I don't think it would. The adapter plate is specific to the blacktop beams intake/head. I'm not sure if there is a similar product for a non beams 3sge.

hello I have this Panic ITB kit in my sw20, but on a Redtop beams (totally plug and play for this engine) but on a classic 3sge it will not work

I bet a lot of the mid range torque loss is due to the longer stacks on the 4age ITBS. If you could figure out a way to lengthen the stacks on the panic throttles, you would bring back some of that torque in the midrange.

I've thought about that too. I don't know much about tuning velocity stack lengths, but it's something I've wanted to try.

That's a good question. They're so rare/expensive that I don't know if they're worth it. I haven't been able to find a single person that runs them.

If I remember correctly, silvertop are indeed 45mm. Blacktop are 48mm. Great video and review.

Correct but also incorrect , because one always refers to the throttle blade side size when measuring itbs, so the silvertops are 43mm and the blacktops are 45mm 🤙

What I found is that it depends on who you're talking to lol. The main takeaway that I hope everybody gets is that regardless of what/where you're measuring on the 4AGE ITBs - the panic made ones are larger.
