@ A lot of people differentiate between the terms "favorite" and "best," with the latter implying the matter is able to be decided objectively (while "favorite" is clearly subjective). To be blunt, most folks in these comments aren't qualified to judge who's technically better, at least at the high level players like Kanami or Sakura (etc.) operate at. You're using "best" a bit differently, but that's cool!

I'm always biased towards M&M, but for female single lead guitar players I'd say Chakki (Saki) is still my Empress. It's her flair... she plays live concerts like the guitar heroes of the old. Guitar and player as one entity. Style and substance amped to the max. Hal-Ca is like a younger Saki.

Yes, I agree that Saki is good too. I think if we can put our favorites aside, and just go by technical proficiency, names like Li-sa-X and Hal-ca are required for every best-guitarist list, whether people like them or not. Even if all the comments under this video mentioning Hal-ca are ONLY doing so because she’s a favorite of theirs, she should still be put on a best list because she is ACTUALLY one of the best.

Personally, I think Midori is every bit as good as Miyako, and yes, both Hal-ca and Li-Sa-X are both technically up there. Did you check out Yuki’s Bohemian Rhapsody? She’s criminally overlooked! My favorite is Toki, I’m not going to even try to argue she’s “the best”, or “no one gets close” though, that’s just missing out on some excellent music.

You would need to consider who the best actually are (where Kanami fits into all of this), since the video is about the best, and not simply picking your personal favorites. I debated people who thought Kanami is better than Miyako and Midori, but it would be even more ridiculous if someone thought she is better than Hal-ca and Li-sa-X. What I’m thinking here, has to do with the title of the video. Because this channel never makes any real attempt at picking the best, and is driven more by popularity, next time it should remove the word “best” and put “favorite”.
