Hi Jonathan. Checking in. If I was going to purchase the kettlebell I would prefer the vinyl coated for all the reasons you gave. I would place them up against the wall to prevent the rocking. That to me was the only negative. The difference in price wasn't enough to change my mind. Good review.

Great video! I just bought the uncoated and so far it does okay 3 weeks in! Love the paint texture in the hands and provides a grip like texture once the hands get sweaty. Can’t say for the other one because I don’t own it lol. Once again good video man!

Great review. I picked up a Bowflex adjustable kettlebell (5-45 pounds) initially at regular price ($200 CAD) - last in the store and to date none still available even online given the pandemic. That was in June. A few weeks ago I picked up an Apex adjustable ($80 CAD) for weights (already owned not part of purchase) over 45 pounds which goes up to 65 pounds that I use for squats. I also grabbed a couple from Walmart, coated, a 35 and 25 for specific exercises tight to the face or chest where the adjustables are too big to use (i.e. the bowflex case remains the same size whether using 5 pounds or 45 pounds). All in all a great investment. These coated kettlebells I got from Walmart are excellent. Why anyone would buy a in vogue "manufacturers" kettlebell for serious bucks beyond a bowflex or apex adjustable or Walmart or Yes4All is beyond me. Unless you are competing in some pseudo games weight is weight. YMMV.

I just need one to tie it to my weight belt when doing dips and pull-ups/chin-ups. It takes me a lot of time to prepare for those exercises when using an olympic plate. The same for doing one arm dumbbell rows; assembling the adjustable dumbbells is a hassle sometimes when you are on a tight schedule.

If you're looking for one to beat up on with dips and pull ups, def. go amazon or whatever is cheaper at the time.

Great review thank you! Quick question, I've seen a fair amount of reviews on Amazon about the Yes4All handles having sharp edges, curious if you've had any of those issues or all good? Might just be a few and not the norm since they're close to 17000 ratings on there. 🙂

Never noticed it...you can use sandpaper if you find the handles are rough or sharp

Is it easier to bang up forearms with the Amazon one compared to a competitor kettlebell? I feel like the extra large handle on the Amazon one is banging me up on cleans
