MRMacho Diablo in KH1 alot of these are ventus techniques, especially the wind element he uses. Sora was chosen after Riku because of ventus half inside of him and sora drew his strength from ventus heart, unconsciously. This is why he went from random kid, to OP unstoppable keyblade wielder by the middle and end. Sora has the kingdom key because his heart is extremely pure without any ill intent or selfish will. the kingdom key is part of the X blade

There is no way Roxas should be so close to Sora's power or even, dare I say it, stronger than him, as Sora's real skill is his ability to learn and take in the fighting styles he sees around him. You can also see this in KH2, where Sora is so used to fighting such a variance in foes in the last game that he can use reaction commands and counter almost any move an enemy unleashes at him, even so much as copying Lexeaus's strength, Xaldin's dragoon jump, and Luxord's card tricks. Additionally, Sora formulated genius moves such as Ragnarok, a formidable attack that requires much magic energy to use, Ars Arcanum, which requires great focus and strength, and finally, his trademarked Strike Raid, which he may use almost ad nauseam against foes. His mastery of magic is unquestionably solid, and his bare determination to win the battle keeps him going till the end, his drive even going so far as to allow him to recover his magical energy whenever he's hit, allowing him to keep pushing on forever. Basically, Sora's current power (KH2 and up), and even in his younger, less slick days of combat, he was still a tiger on the battlefield, and is way better than some random girl-fanservice brat that gets to wield TWO keyblades just because.
