The Best Kolaches in Texas: Czech Stop

Today, we are taking a trip to West, Texas to go to Czech Stop. The best rated kolache place in Texas. I tried the cherry cream cheese kolache, raspberry cream cheese kolache, apple kolache, pineapple kolache, and nutella kolache. Czech Stop is located off of I-35 and is surprisingly a part of a gas station. So it can get a little noisy, and it is constantly packed. Czech Stop was established in 1983, the store serves traditional Czech cuisine such as kolache, klobasnek and strudels. It was designated as the "Home of the official Kolache of the Texas. Czech Stop uses over 1,200 lbs of cream cheese, 9,000 lbs of flour, 750 gallons of milk, 2,400 lbs of butter 1,300 lbs of sausage, 2,100 dozen eggs, and 2,500 lbs of American cheese each week to produce its baked goods.

The Czech Stop is a Texas treasure. Expatriate Czech soccer and ice hockey players who play in Dallas often stop by when they feel a bit homesick.

So I think i may have had these in the past but didn't know what they were called. Glad to know now lol. Looks great! Wish I had gone to this place when I visited Texas back in 2018. Gotta go back and check this out. I think Nutella woulda been my fave too!
