Honestly people gripe on eStream often but figures I've seen have been superb. They have some qc issues, and I get that for the price it isn't what you want to see, but they also make some of the most dynamic and interesting figures which are likely harder to keep to the proto. If they had done Aqua as well I likely would have paid it at the time, I think now the eStream ones I've watching the most are of JJK and My Dress up darling. Thankfully I haven't been in love with a lot of the characters they do.

My first eStream figure, put the money down as I thought it was the best Megumin figure out there too! Decided this would be the only Megumin I would need..... though.... the cape still does not go on :') I am planning on shaving down the cape pegs at some point, but I have really grown to love displaying her without the cape. Great video!!

Nice; just got this figure a few weeks ago... I love it and it is indeed the best Megumin out there... As you say, outfit is simple, but I appreciate the various finishes, shading applied, and materials to really make her pop! My nitpicks are definitely the assembly; it is STUCK on that base, and the fact that you have to reach UNDER the flames risking a terrible OOPS and D'OH! moment and busting the flames pulling it off... then, getting that darn cape on; pegs are way oversized and the attachment to the flame at the back was way off... that can leave the pegs visible (and push the head up, making that post semi-visible) and, combined this with the armpit attachment seam, detract from the fine details in a way that is, IMO, not acceptable for a "premium" figure at that price point... case-in-point, I'd probably point towards Alter; similar ridiculous prices these days (*coughAzurLanecough), but despite complex assembly, a breeze to assemble and near perfectly fitted w/ appropriate tolerancing all around and near flawless execution down to the small details....

Dang this is one of the good ones. Just so people know, 2 of the most common QC issues is the cape is ill fitting and the side burn is painted too low. The cape fitting was so bad I had send mine back to get a replacement.

i love this figure, and chomosuke on the hat that just makes it worth it, can't really buy it because it is hard to find never seen it before in a store or for sale in some way at all, never seen it by a friend or so either

I must smile when you say "I wouldn't spend over 250 Dollars on any figure of it [Konosuba]". This amazing figure costs me over 400 Euro - also bought from AmiAmi but the shipping costs and EU VAT and Custom Fees are horrendous. But in the end it's really the best looking Megumin figure out there.

Already have two Megumin figures, but this one looks definitely the best of all that I have seen so far. But if I pay +250$/€ and with shipping, tax and customs easily +350 I would expect a bit better tolerances for the parts, without the fear of breaking something.

Heard horror stories of people taking Megumin out of her base and accidentally snapping the peg off. So the recommended method is to just cut the plastic off like you did.

Just got the figure. Gonna be my first and last figure from Estream. Her sideburn is painted too low, the cape was very hard to put in and it's support doesn't even correctly meet up with the hole on the ring effect. I am satisfied with her though. I will be asking for amiami if I can get a head replacement with a correctly painted sideburn.

I am happy you didn't remove her from the base. The pegs are cheap plastic, easy to break. This is the first figure for me where the pegs just broke from removing.

They are expensive and not immune to quality issues but I love E-Stream figures. They have become my favorite figure brand but I have also been lucky not to get one with an issue so far.

it's amazing no one has beat eStream into the ground, their figures have great sculpts but have tons of QC and parts fit problems. So it's absolutely overpriced. Max Factory and GSC are absolutely capable of this level of sculpt at this price point but with proper parts fit. but to be fair, you were absolutely expected to cut the protective plastic on the legs, not take them off the base

I had this preordered from BBTS, I was new to figures and this would have been my first scale figure. I ended up canceling it cus I then later found it on other websites for A LOT cheaper. The one I ordered was $470 and the other stores had her for $300-$330. I’d rather get Prinz Eugen for that price and actually wish I did 🙁

Hi KenKen, nice to meet you. I'm look to get one of this figure. However, as I'm looking at reviews on youtube, I saw some of them have alot of problems with their figure, the one that caught my attention are the ones who has her sideburn not connecting to her hair. There's literary a huge gap between the sideburn to the hair and it looks awful. So I'd like to ask if you know weather is this a common thing? or is it an ealier batch situation where there are more defect in the figure? Or does this only apply to the ones that has the bonus face with the eyepatch? Does yours has that gap between sideburn and the hair as well ? because from your video, yours seems fine. Sorry if I'm fooling your comment with question here, but the figure is really expensive now and I'm trying to get the best out of it.

I care more about the character than the show. Some of the most expensive figures I've ordered are of characters I like from shows that I don't care for. Well, mostly just Kurumi.... I don't care for DAL at all, it's harem trash sorry not sorry. But I've ordered so many Kurumi. I'm up to 14 now including pre-orders. This includes the eStream, the 1/2.5(which, to be frank, is an over simplistic sculpt that is not worth the cost, but...), the new year set even though I don't care much for the other two characters(gotta have full sets). She is by far the most I've spent on a single character and single handedly made DAL the 3rd place in terms of series on which I've spent the most on, after Fate and Nier Automata. That said, character is important, which is why I have *very* few OCs.

Estream new products shipped by amiami do still get shipped in their original shipment box but amiami also packages it with their own box filled with protection. This doesnt eliminate the possibility of damage from its original shipment to amiami though.

I think the reason why they dont keep them in listing for that long is because merch isnt really mass produced, since everything is run on a pre-order based system. So if youre trying to find merch thats already been made and released you will either have to get lucky that someone cancels their preorder so it goes up for grabs or you buy it used off somewhere like ebay. Either way id recommend amiami or otakumode.

Are you New to figures? The whole market is based off a preorder based system so if you didnt preorder one during the preorder deadline, your only hope is to find one second hand or hope stores still have them in stock if people cancel theirs. This ones been released for a long time now so if you still want it you gotta go on second hand sites and find it used, on ebay or mercari for example. Or you can hope the manufacturer does a reprint but that could never happen.
