not a single miss in this list ! also, there's another girl group called YOUNG POSSE whose entire line is full of rappers. their songs Macaroni Cheese, OTB, POSSE UP!, and XXL all have extremely fun rap flows, upbeat choreography, and everything that essentially makes YOUNG POSSE great nominees for ROTY! (p.s. Sunhye's machine gun flow in 'XXL' is absolutely INSANE)

I would love to see what the ppl who complain about Soyeon think of 2nd gen and earlier songs. SuJu singing “close your lips, shut your tongue” and TVXQ’s Purple Line anyone? I also find it interesting Soyeon specifically gets so much hate. Mimi’s rap in Nonstop is “I have to go to the bed by night” but you don’t hear word one about that. Not to mention the fact that Soyeon’s first language damn sure isn’t English. Let’s see any of you make a rap in Korean or any other language than your native one and see how it sounds. THEN we’ll discuss language skills

I mean she definitely doesn’t deserve HATE but why write a bad English raps when she is clearly capable of writing good Korean raps? No one is forcing or even asking her to write in English especially if she’s not going to deliver her usual quality Yes people love to hate on her because she’s a woman and people suck…..but that doesn’t mean her English raps are good yk

@@Yeri-strawberry I never said Soyeon's raps were amazing or even particularly good. I simply stated the obvious: to hate on her for sth so trivial is dumb and if you're going to hate for that reason, you can't pick and choose the idols you hate. As to your "why write bad English raps" question. You don't know what you don't know. If she doesn't speak the language, how can she know she's using awkward terminology or phrasing.

@@soyeonvsveggies it's not like the video has the best female rappers in the industry either (aside Soyeon); also IVE isn't a rap focused group, Rei is a good rapper but nothing more, the majority from the video are better than her: Soyeon, Dami, Mimi, Yuki, Yeeun, Lisa, Lola, Chaeyoung, Jennie. i think that's all, Rei is better than the rest.

no one can still match the Queen of Rap - CL, even YG girl rappers nowadays can't. They can rap fast but it's not as charismatic as CL. Soyeon is awesome but she's sassy not swaggy and I don't like her nasal voice. The only gg that comes close is XG
