Solid laptop, good review. When you open the laptop, I realize the internal design of the laptop looks really good, no wasted space, everything seems organized, limited upgrade, it doesn't look far from internal of high-end ultrabooks.

tbh my biggest issue with this kind of laptop is the storage and ram limitations, I would have loved it if it had 2 slots, since I need 64 gb bcs I am into slightly heavier virtualization (multiple linux/windows machines) and some compilation tasks

how does sound quality on this new ideapad compare to previous generation of ideapads? I've tried an ideapad 5 pro 16arp8 once, and the sound quality was terrible compared to asus' harman cardon speakers with smart amp (I know it's mostly marketing bs, but I mean I actually loved the sound so much more on asus). I am curious to switch to lenovo and considering to even buy this unit (which is why I found your video), but really hesitating over the sound quality.

@@romarsit1795 I took the 32gb ram and 1t storage version with integrated graphics. The screen is crazy good, fan noise is non existent. Battery is great, on an office workload (excel, word, web pages) with 75% brightness you can work 6-7h. At least. Build quality is good, the laptop is solid. The only plastic part is around the screen. Trackpad works well. I had a very old laptop so I could feel the huge improvement. Fast charging is good to have.

@@romarsit1795 Sorry, i missed your comment. I bought the 1TB storage 32gb ram version with no OS. This configuration costed 1025€ in Italy. The OS costed 20€ so we are talking of about 1050€ as a total. I had a very old pc Intel I7 7th gen so for me the jump was huge. Laptop is great, screen is amazing. Battery is very good as well. 75% brightness ensure you at least 8h of mix work including online meetings, web browsing, excel, powerpoint and similar. Build quality is high, the only part that makes the laptop "less premium" is the plastic frame around the screen, but tbh i do not judge the laptop for that small detail. Keybord is smooth, trackpad too. Tbh i'd do this purchase again and again. Great value for this price.

Thank you for your great review. I ordered the EU version directly from Lenovo last week and am waiting for delivery. With the ‘close tab’ trick I got another 20% discount and finally paid less than 730€. (32g/1TB) Question: You replaced the SSD with a 2280. I'm thinking about doing the same and would like to use the WD SN850x 4Tb, but it has chips on both sides. What were your experiences, does an SSD 2280 with chips on both sides fit and what are your temperatures of the SSD?

@@Frownwarrior somehow i can't get those same specs as in this video what i was able to configure on lenovo official website in germany was 16gb soldered ram/1tb ssd which was the most they offer right now and display panel unfortunately is only 400nits hoverever is oled 2.8k 120hz and that all low specs for around 1k€. how did you get that for 32gb/1tb for 730 € 🤔 there is no way for that less money lenovo will offer something in europe Vat included right ?

@@AliRaza-jg3hx würden meine Kommentare nicht immer gelöscht..... also 1. nimm die Option OS weg. jeh nach dem sind das -50 bis -110€ und dann wen du die konfig hast, lege sie in den warenkorb. warte einen Moment. anschliessend gehe mit der maus langsam auf das "x" des Browsertabs und deaktiviere zuvor Adblock. es sollte ein Popup erscheinen und lenovo gibt dir nochmals 20%,. wen du nun dich als student anmeldets oder firma kriegst du nochmals 10%

I have an Intel model of this coming actually. The battery will drop for sure and gaming performance will be a little lower but still fine. To be honest if AMD isn’t available I think Intel is still a rock solid option in this laptop. I’d probably just get the core ultra 7 to save some money. The performance will be also the same as 9

For those asking, the R7 8845hs is equal to a 5800x3d, 15% less than a 7800x3d… but its around 45% more powerfull than a M3 with a better battery life and the best igpu on the market rn (cyberpunk 1080p low 75fps, medium 50fps) Pro tip there is a really small computer named Gmktek K8 with the ryzen 7 8845hs even smaller than mac mini or any sff for around 500$ it’s an amazing value too

I've been wondering why they wouldn't put decent batteries in smaller laptops. I mean, I understand that the form factor is smaller but it's not a reason to half the battery capacity. Turns out it's pretty possible and probably wasn't done previously because "business" With upcoming Snapdragon ARM processors, I'm finally looking forward to a decent battery lifetime on laptops besides Macbooks
