I live in Seattle. I'm not sure how I feel about my nails matching the weather 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 But I like grays and blues regardless. Nails are bare right now but for sure I could match them to the gray ugh right now. Might go with ILNP flicker because it's gray but shimmery. Or find something colorful to have color and fun on my nails. We'll see. I've been wanting to do ILNP retro teal with KB Shimmer sol amazing (yellow/goldish to kind of green multichrome flakes). Or maybe I'll do something with ILNP ball drop.

The Mooncat is my favorite. Funny story, so I was feeling like doing my nails yesterday. I was able to sit up at the table & get a quick glittery manicure on. It looked so good... Then I got back in bed & put on the heating pad. 😅 It melted. So now I have melted nails for NY bc I'm not feeling like getting back up. Oh well. Healing isn't linear. It's ok if I don't feel like doing it right now. Hope you're taking it easy! Pain our body's way of telling us to slow down. It's OK to rest, especially after having major surgery 😘 hope you're getting some rest!

This year I'm definitely missing the winter weather. I'm not a fan of cold or of driving in the snow but I am a fan of how it looks and having a winter wonderland. This year feels off because there is no snow, at least in WI.

I gravitate to brighter colors because I’m in Atlanta and it’s cloudy more often than sunny and it doesn’t snow much here so it’s just stupid weather. I do love the polishes you chose though. Those would make a great skittle manicure.

I prefer red nails in general, but I feel the vibe is different each season. I tend to wear brown-leaning reds in autumn, bright red around the holidays and cool-toned, raspberry leaning reds in January - February.

I like Wintery blue color nail polishes or jewel toned shades, this time of year. I live in Wisconsin, so it's cold and snowy. I agree with you as a kid I liked playing in the snow, but as an adult I do not like snow. My son actually moved to Dallas Texas this year, he said he didn't like the winter weather either. Lol I am visiting until mid March. It's nice to spend some fun quality time with him and I get to miss the winter weather. 😊

As I live in Northern Europe, the weather is very rainy, snowy, and dreary. I would LOVE to move to a sunny and warm place. I hate rain! Nail polish wise I tend to want to wear lighter pastel colors in blue, grey, green or purple tones. I do like switch to a screaming bright neon with a lot of other colors going on in there once in a while, just to brighten up the grey days 😊

It's been in the 70s where I live, so it just feels like an extended mild summer. After Xmas I always paint my nails black w/ all the chunky glitter toppers for New Years, then January is when I wear mainly baby blues & silver colors. Then in February it's all pinks & reds till the 14th then it's all purples till march 🍀

Hope you are feeling OK Kelli! I personally am in love with And The Shadows Flee Away. Oh that is gorgeous (all of them are, lol!). I also love Enchantment. I have KB Shimmer Northern Frights and they remind me of one another with those big fluffy flakes. I do love seasonal polishes-they help me get in the mood for whatever is coming up! RE: Seasons-I have been watching two specific youtubers that live in Norway that have really helped me deal with my dislike of winter. It's helped me a lot! But I can SOOOO see the appeal of having nice sunny weather all the time. I'm glad you are loving where you live! It's so important! Take care of yourself!

I just took off my Christmas mani today!😂 I live in NE TN where it was 60 Christmas Day and snowing this morning. I’m about to put on a polish you would love. It’s a blue crelly with purple, pink & blue shifting flakes with pale blue & white matte glitter & a touch of fine silver holo. It’s called Winter Blues and perfect for a day like today. I love your winter picks. Mine range from this crelly to a black based linear holo from N🦉L and of course my Kelli’s Galaxy polishes. I’m all over the place in the Winter months because I hate cold weather so I basically just wear what makes me feel good in the moment. I hope your surgery is over and everything is going well. I lived in Connecticut for years and definitely prefer sun. Night Owl Lacquer has an older collection called Stormy and I liked Rainy Daydreams in it. Gray and pink. I’m wearing Bee’s Knees Lacquer An Act of Love it has a blue to green shimmer with a silver to peachy/pink holo. It’s beautiful! I got it in a destash. It’s what they call a Lion sibling/cousin because the original formula was A Lion With A Thorn in Its Paw.

My January rack has a lot of these polishes (esp all the ILNPs) but tend towards brighter snow -colored tones. When I was about 12, (errrrmmmm.... let's just say it was the 1980s 😋my family went to Boulder City, NV for Christmas. My aunt picked us up in Vegas, and as we went around the bend near the Railroad Pass, it started snowing. We ended up getting just a little dusting of snow that night & of course it was gone the next day, but it was kinda freaky. I remember at least two other times when the whole valley got snow on the ground that stuck, but its pretty rare. I love the new mooncat and ilnp collections! I grabbed two from mooncat and plan on grabbing the darker shades from ilnp! I'm in NJ btw so I don't blame you for not missing the winter months! Since last year I can say that at this time I'm really more into Grey, blue and purple 😅 I'm from somewhere in Canada where it's really heavy in snow, like 5 hole months of snow or more... Now I'm living 400km south, and winter is 2 months shorter, right now we don't have snow... These are great. I would have picked three different shades from the Mooncat My Inner Apocalypse collection, which just goes to show how perfect the whole collection is for this time of year! Yes yes yes! These are such great picks and similar to the colors I’ve been leaning towards. Currently wearing midnight rider by moon cat but I like how the rogue liquor enchantment polish has the bigger flecks!
