Thank you for the review and strap extender suggestion. I got this bag 7 years ago from a pre-loved luxury store. Didn’t know what style it was until now. It’s a 1999 vintage and in pristine condition. Just recently had it authenticated and am surprised that it is now double the price I paid for. I will definitely be getting the strap extender as I like the crossbody style.

I love this bag. I accidentally return a new pochette accessoir and got the Musset tango instead. I can fit more thing in it...it's more versatile...and the canvas has better quality on vintage models.

OMG I have had this bag foreverrrrr, lol. My strap is trash so I'm going to try to find something on Amazon. The strap hardware is square shaped so it's hard to find strap replacements but my journey continues.

I'm so glad this was helpful! Bummer about KC Authenticators 😕. It does indeed look like they went out of business! I'd try Authenticate First or Real Authentication. I've used both in the past with great success 🙌.

I purchased this bag after watching your review. I found it on Fashionphile for a steal! Thank you! Thanks also for the crossbody suggestion. I ordered a vachetta strap from Amazon that includes the extender! My only surprise is that the bag is smaller than I imagined. Do you own the mini pochette and does it fit in the Tango? If so, I will have to get the mini pochette to sub for my Toiletry 19 which does fit, but takes up about 90 percent of the bag. Thanks a million!

Thank you so much for your review! Based on it, I decided to take the plunge and buy one! Can I ask you a question about your bag? Do you happen to know the measurements of the rectangle rings that connect the bag to the strap? Unfortunately the bag I bought (being shipped soon) has really bad chipped hardware and I plan to replace it with brass. Cannot find this into anywhere and trying to purchase replacements to arrive at the same time. Any help is appreciated!

@@laurenromeo Ok, so as requested, I am updating you. I received my bag (over the moon!) today and I promptly started cleaning it. I used Brasso on the hardware not expecting great results since the plating on the hardware was chipped and scratched. To my surprise, using Brasso and q-tips shined the dark and dull base metal to a lovely gold! So needless to say, I don't need to replace the hardware! I am confused though - is the base metal brass and if it is actually brass, why LV would put a finish over it? Anyway, that's my story. I appreciate you letting me share! :)

@@caseys.2371 @Casey S. thank you so much for the update! I was so curious to see how things turned out for you ☺️. For the longest time, the metal LV used on their bags was straight up brass. No coatings etc. I would bet the metal on this particular bag is indeed brass, but it appears to have some sort of a coating on the exterior (mine looks this way upon further inspection). Probably just to keep it looking "nice"? Brass always polishes up so easily.. so I don't understand the need for a coating either. Maybe they thought it would make things easier for the customer? How I wish LV would put this much thought into their products as they did back then 😅. Enjoy your new bag 🥰!

Hi! I usually authenticate once the item arrives, but you could totally do it before purchasing. I'd actually recommend the later, especially if you're feeling any sort of uncertainty. Hope this helps 🙏.
