Bobby, testimonial here. You are definitely making a difference in people's lives. A couple months ago, I stumbled across your KZbin offerings. Since then, I've changed a lot of things in my diet and shopping. Needless to say, eating healthy isn't cheap but neither is a bypass...I've suffered from Gerd for approximately 30 years. All my doctor has done is prescribe ppi's. Since taking your advice, I've reduced my ppi usage. I go for my annual physical next week and hope to come off my statin. My BP is stable and my energy has increased. I take your app out whenever I'm at the store. Keep up the great work and thank you sir.

I love that Bobby is pointing out the good lunch meats to customers. I wish I had someone pointing out the healthier options to me while shopping. Sometimes I have to grocery shop after my hemodialysis treatment and after treatments I get brain fog really bad so I have trouble making decisions or choices of such simple things that I normally don’t have to think twice about. Like the foods I buy. Add to that I have to consider the amount of cooking I have to do to even feed myself. Kidney failure is exhausting and most days I don’t even have the strength to make toast, let alone bake my own bread first… which I used to do. I miss my whole food cooking when I knew exactly what ingredients I was eating, now it’s just a long, drawn out game of russian roulette. Listen to Bobby, take his advice and do as much as you can to protect & preserve your health.

Look if you want healthy then make your own. You can make your own using turkey or chicken. If you want roast beef then grab a round roast, season as you want then place in the oven at 500 degrees at 5 minutes per pound, turn the oven off, leave in the oven for 2 hours. Do not open the oven till the 2 hours are up. Take out and it should be a medium then slice thin. What do not eat in a week wrap, bag and freeze.

I feel pretty well educated on Vitamins because I've been taking them for 40 years, actually more! I want to heads up people and get their opinions and the fact that Walmart House brand Spring Valley vitamins and supplements, at least the ones that I have used, I just recently noticed on the label says "Made in China"! This concerns me! How do you feel?

Love! Could you make a video on super foods? Or the most nutrient dense foods at the grocery store, for those of us with anemia, b12 deficiency, etc ??? Thanks ❤️❤️❤️

The problem with the healthiest organic brands of turkey and ham lunch meat like Applegate Farms, etc is that it’s just simply not affordable for most middle class families. There’s barely enough meat in one package for 1 or 2 sandwiches compared to the Land O Frost which is 1lb of meat for $4-$5, and these days esp with the Inflation we are experiencing, families are going to go with the best deal.

This is an outstanding video. Even someone knowledgable will find it educational while done in an entertaining manner. Video layout was good too, pointing out the best first and then working up (down/sidways) was also good. I will follow this channel.

We started making our own lunch meat. Also dry milk powder is a binder and used to maintain moisture, it's not overly used in sausage making. Aka the methods used to make cold cuts.

I never buy prepackaged deli meat. What do you recommend from the deli counter. I have always bought Boars Head because i was under the impression it was the highest quality.

They have a lot of the ingredients like carrageen. They do have a version that is clean, saw it at the store last night, but it's expensive...like a dollar a slice.

Buy a pork shank, cook it in a slow cooker, once done ease the bone out and put the meat into a tight-fitting dish (meaning no space around the meat). Put a weight on top and refrigerate. Next day you have a a tasty, firm cold-cut of pork to slice for sandwiches. Costs a fraction of the price of processed slop which has additives and way too much salt. Takes a couple of minutes to put into the slow cooker and few minutes to take it out and refrigerate. As a bonus you also get some fantastic protein-filled stock for other dishes. I wouldn't eat store-bought processed meat even if it were free.

I've been a fan for a few years. We have relocated & retired to a beautiful city in Ecuador. GMO'S are not allowed here. They do have processed foods here, but we are no longer eating those either. No cold cuts, no packaged sausage, salamis, etc. We have up breakfast cereals a decade ago. What do we eat, real food. Fresh vegetables from the large mercados here. On the bad side we have had to adjust to natural bacteria in the soil. That is about it.

Can I just take you grocery shopping with me one day? Like we can hit up Costco your favorite and Whole Foods. Jokes aside ever since I found your channel you have made me a very cautious shopper now! Thank you so much! I appreciate every video you put out honestly.
