They've still yet to fully dip themselves in 80's ~ 90's Bollywood and China's 1960's ~ 1990's industry. Doing some of early-2000's Stephen Chow (yet to tackle God of Cookery) and mid-to-late 90's Fang Shilong, or Bruce Lee classics is fine, but there's waaay more to it than just that. They MUST go deeper. Like "entirety of Lucky Stars, Cheng Pei Pei, 80's Shaw Bros/Lo Wei, Aces Go Places and other Hui brothers' works (Mr. Coconut, for one)"-levels of deep.

One of my favorite moments is when Jordan cusses out Harper from head to toe, and all the way back up again! 👏👏👏 Fun fact: Jordan slapping Harper was unscripted. Nia Long improvised because she felt something was "missing" from the scene. Taye Diggs's reaction was 100% real and afterwards, he was NOT happy with Nia. Once he saw it on screen, he liked the scene, though. 😂😭🙃

This movie teaches me a lesson about taking advantage of people relationships especially your friends. One of my all time favorites! They are definitely all flawed. I saw a meme asking who was worse in the situation, Lance, Mia or Harper. I’d say Lance because his perpetual cheating on Mia led to all the mess. Mia seduced Harper but he didn’t have a good reason to betray Lance. Mia seeking revenge instead of dumping Lance is terrible too.
