Oh hey, sorry we didn't catch this when you posted. Great review! A few notes from us: - Everything is destructible within a level with the main exception of the district walls and the exit gates - You are correct in assuming the art assets are 3D models rendered as 2D sprites (with an additional sprite sheet for zdepth to provide lighting) - you can see the sprite rotations of each asset if you go hunting through the game folders and one of our newsletters from last year explains the art pipeline process - The music is by Makeup And Vanity Set, an electronic musician from Nashville, TN, that we highly recommend - Brigador's gameplay is heavily inspired by 1993's Syndicate and 1995's Crusader: No Remorse; in terms of visual themes and mood, the game is heavily influenced by a number of 80s action films and John Carpenter's music, such as Escape From New York, and Terry Gilliam's Brazil - Payouts in Campaign mode are not affected by vehicle choice, but first time completion using each vehicle in a Campaign mission grants a diamond (a one-off 1 million bonus in cash). Getting all diamonds will grant you the Diamond Collector achievement - It varies but we've noticed the Closed Casket Special Freelance run takes experienced players roughly 60-90 minutes to do with Precursor James (assuming they live to the end) - We have a fairly active modding community if you want to use some of the "enemy" vehicles - The horns were a lot of fun to make

Hey, loved your game! Still haven't gotten the Sledger diamond on As I Step, In Vain (even with 50% slowdown) and judging by that mission I'll Be As I Am is going to be pain, but loving it. Actively listen to the soundtrack off-game, the audiobook's awesome too, love the world, couldn't praise it highly enough.

I kinda feel bad you haven't mentioned the Audiobook for the game. I mean, damn, the story's amazing, the characters are top notch, and all around you get invested into the world and see the start of Solo Nobre's invasion through the Loyalist's perspective. But other than that, the video itself is well made, even with the slight hiccups and mispronunciations (Most especially with the word conglomerate. I've gotten a chuckle out of that).

I was going to mention the audiobook but I never listened to it. Most people say it's great though! My pronunciations are terrible at the best of times lol. Glad you enjoyed it
