Someone should make a sort of practice map for bastions, where you spawn in near a random bastion with stone tools and an iron pick, and get to practice the bastions over and over, without needing to re-do the entire overworld section of the speedrun

One big thing about top down housing that you didn’t mention is that you want to be checking the triple chest at the top by digging into the floor or pillaring into the ceiling above them-the chance for obsidian/string in those chests can help you get out of the bastion a lot faster and you’re already right there. Great video as a whole though, lots of useful info all in one spot

I think it is rather important to mention, that in the stables during the first route.. You are looking for the "broken towers" on the top of the bastion, all of them have the same set of stairs and you are entering from the middle of the bastion (the video makes it look like you're entering from outside due to the terrain).. It's really confusing in this video to understand where in the stables you are (especially for a beginner)

I haven't beaten minecraft even tho I've played since 1.7 and I'm trying to learn speed running techniques to make my first run a special run since now nether travel is more technical and consistent instead of aimless running. I learned to find a fortress easily in the nether and now I'm trying to learn bastion routes to help get pearls faster instead of trading with villagers. thanks for the video hope I get this :)

This is an absolutely great video .....for no one. You sped through everything not explaining clearly where to go. This wasn't an informative video, it's basically just a show-off video where you try to show how fast you can do it. Imagine a guitarist teaching a student and rips out a the hardest Flamenco jam he can find. What use is it to show how fast you can do it if your title leads one to think that you will teach them your recommended route?
