What you said about some of the lamps being turned off at the end of the video - that was on purpose because there were some shots where some of the roundels were turned off in that interior. I also agree with the fact about the staircase rounded design; one that I personally go with in my coral interiors. I wish I had a PC that could do mods because I really want this one lol.

Hey, great video!! I'm glad this mod is getting some more attention again. Panda, CommandrMoose, Magic, and I built all the interiors. I also thought about using honey blocks for the crystalline but they aren't survival friendly. PS: I recommend using lower brightness

I used to play a lot with this mod before I found the New Tardis Mod This one is really the best in my opinion You have to take care of your own Tardis, maintain its components, manage its mood and loyalty, build its interior with a set of pre-built rooms and corridors... And you can also go to space and on the Moon

It shows nature of TT capsules really well. They're just a plants, using "integrated" dimension space inside like organ (cause of Gallifrey nature) , and Time Lords like adapting these plants with their technology to create machines based on them and gaining autonomous control...

also, some of the shells have animations, along with each console having specific animations for idle/ flight! notably the mystic shell and aperture console. with the dwarven variant having imo the coolest animation.

I wouldn’t say it’s the best tardis mod right now, as I’ve played on a server that used tardis refined and new tardis mod, and new tardis mod was definitely better, but tardis refined has a lot of potential, and what it does have is better than what new tardis mod has, mostly consoles and interiors.

as I mentioned in the video (I think haha), personally I believe it is the best TARDIS mod to *enhance* the vanilla experience, while not being too complex. I think new TARDIS mod is by far the most in-depth TARDIS mod out there, but not the best for beginners or people looking for something to just add to their game as an extra :)

The eighth doctor's tardis is normally referred to as Edwardian. Not Victorian, although considering it was made in the 90s. Matt Groening is the creator of the Simpsons, Futurama, etc. so that may be a custom Tardis model for him based off Futurama. Note, he says his name is pronounced "Gr-ae-n-ing" while oe is an English spelling of the German vowel ö. They are not pronounced the same at all.

it's modeled on the sui.. ahem youtube doesn't like that word so the pay-for-death booth from futurama, the one fry thinks is a phone booth until it tries to kill him in an early episode and shows up occasionally through the series. so, naming it after him was probably easier than naming it after the booth and people still would get the joke.

I just restarted my game and removed some mods I had in my mods folder, which I believe were causing the issues. Make sure you dont hane any conflicting mods

im of the opinion that when youre creating a tardis in this way, the "completed" tardis actually shouldnt look like the TT Capsules. they were made when the creation of tardises was streamlined already right? I feel like this process of growing your own should look more like reflective of that by the time its complete. maybe you have to manually connect things around the console room and that naturally leads the cavern into appearing more industrialized, leaving the decoration in your hands until you get access to all the preset interiors. maybe theres a central shell that hides the heart of the tardis, and you have to construct your console around it. maybe the outside of the tardis continues to remain as its natural coral exterior until _you_ provide it with special plating, maybe the growth stone. that way it has the tardis' natural self-fixing properties from a source thats related to the tardis. Maybe the way you craft the plating is with certain material related to whatevers used to make a chameleon circuit, and _then_ you can change the tardis' appearance however you like. its at this point that i'd accept the console and exterior to look like the default TT Capsule, but i'd much prefer a sort of DIY feel to everything, maybe have it explicitly feel minecrafty with its textures to imply "this is a tardis built from the world and resources of minecraft" instead of gallifrey

those are certainly some interesting ideas. that would be very cool, but I think mod developers have to balance accuracy in terms of the show's story, with actually making a mod that is easily recognisable as a doctor who mod. not everyone will even realise that the TARDIS is a plant, let alone any of the other stuff, so I feel like it's fair to give them something familiar as a reward for their efforts, such as a tt capsule or a police box.

I don't know if it happened to anyone else but everytime I try to use the consol it sort of damages me for no reason and in creative it dosen't work and makes a little noise I press something , any idea how to do something about it ? , and also when I try to terraform the Tardis it won't work but if I switch back to the old version everything works just fine .

I actually had a lot of issues with terraforming the TARDIS as well. make sure you've got no extra mods running that could affect it, make sure you're running the latest fabric version (for 1.19.2), and try restarting your game if it still doesn't work

You only need to download immersive portals for forge, Ive done it alot recently so im pretty sure it will just work if you download it, sadly the portal does not work on the default growth thing, the black is on the texture of that part.

its pretty simple - you just need to download forge for minecraft 1.19.2 and double click to run it, put TARDIS refined in your mods folder, and then boot it up. there are plenty of tutorials online for how to install forge etc :)
