To be fair, Jrod has been worth 0.4 more bWAR and 1.9 rWAR in about 30 fewer games over the last two seasons. I'd probably go with Soto in a more holistic approach but a case could be made for Julio that wouldn't get you laughed out of the room. The true snub is not mentioning him at all in this video.

Australian baseball players seem to be pretty feisty. Before Liam Hendriks, there was another pitcher from Australia in the MLB who was even more aggressive by the name of Grant Balfour. He was really fiery and never backed down from a fight. I enjoyed watching him play when he was with the A's.

Off topic...bu t knowing how irritating many people can be Im glad Acuna decided not to just be happy with 40 steals. Seeing as how the new rule change in base size and pick offs has led to a lot of these haters trying to downplay what he achieved. He apparently decided he would steal so many bags and push the record so far ahead of what it had been no one could argue the rules were the reason. If I hear one more person say it was 6 inches shorter distance ill lose it. It's pretty simple (you would think) it's 4.5 inches not 6 as 2nd base was still centered in line with home plate. 40/70...40/70...? It just doesn't seem real. Before he did it many people argued we may never see another 40/40 season and he goes out and does that, then starts new clubs 40/50, 40/60 & 40/70. I still watch the clip of the Cubs announcers bitching when he stole #70 just to get pissed off. Boog took a beautiful moment an accomplishment like no other and proceeded to take the attention away from Acuna and put it on his own fat ass. Im not positive but im pretty sure When Sammy Sosa passed Maris they might have stopped the game to acknowledge the moment. Did he bitch about that? Hell at least with Acuna he was the first to do something, unlike Sosa who had already seen the other guy in his division chasing down Maris' record McGwire break it previously. What a little whiny twat. He was just pissy because his Cubs came into town with playoff hopes and the Braves didn;t have much else to play for and yet they still got spanked.
