Sorry to disagree with you here Blake Robinson but Salvador Perez is basically a Lock for the Hall. He’s a World Series Champion, World Series MVP, 8x All Star, 5x Gold Glove Winner, 4x Silver Slugger, won a Home Run Title with 48 in 2021, won a Comeback Player of the Year in 2020, and is 13th All-Time in Home Runs by a Catcher while only being 15 HR out of the Top 10 All Time at just 33 years old. Even if his Average Home Runs per year drop from 20.5 (he hasn’t hit less than 20 other than the shortened 2020 since 2014) to something like 17.5 over the next 3 years (which would be ~54) that would make him only the 8th Catcher All-Time with 300 Career HR’s. It would take a debilitating injury in the next year or so for him not to be a Lock for the Hall…

Dude, this is insanely ironic to me. I am working on a list for a future video/article and have been for a few weeks on and off now. This article/video that I am working on is on the percentage chance for players with over two years of major league experience that I think have some hall of fame shot (I deemed around 68 players), and I just realized yesterday the only player that I think that I missed was Lindor... Crazy how the universe/God works!

@@BlakeRobins0n if Salvy’s Career isn’t enough to get in then you have to be a Super Small Hall Guy. Not just Super Small, not just Ridiculously Small, like the Ludicrous Speed level of Small. 8 All-Stars, A World Series Champ/MVP, 5 GG’s, 4 SS’s, a HR Title, a Comeback Player of the year, and at a Minimum Top 10 in HR at a Position All Time? Man you need to readjust your barometer if that’s not a Lock…

@@mtverv Not without a few more great years. Catchers aren't judged fairly. Javy Lopez has better numbers than Perez and can't even sniff the hall. Perez is going to need at least two more great years, probably three to get close and while he certainly could do that, don't forget that catchers usually fall off a cliff and disappear when the body finally gives out.

WAY too much love for youngsters on this list. Chourio over Yelich and Burnes before he plays a single major league inning is absurd. Burnes only has a few all star caliber seasons, but Chourio has zero. Bottom line, I love your channel, but it’s just my opinion that picking a guy that’s never played MLB baseball over a former MVP and a Cy Young winner is crazy. Judge will likely hit his 300th HR this year. That gives him 7 seasons on his remaining contract to hit 200 more. Thats not unreasonable if he stays healthy. His production would have to fall off sharply to go under 30/year average over the next 7 years. Assuming he hits 40+ for the next couple seasons in his early 30s his last couple of seasons would need to be 20 hr years, and presently he’s getting to 20 with time to spare before the break. Though if he’s still the reigning AL HR record holder that might push him over the edge even if he’s just shy of 500 G is only 2 years older and has 416. Plus he’s on pace for like 37 this year. That would put him at 439 going into 2025. If he can mash for a couple more seasons and still be productive enough to stay in the lineup for a couple more after that he’s almost a lock for 500. The thing I worry about with the big guys is injury. They hit the ground hard. And their swings are violent. Slamming a 250 pound body on the ground to slide into second and ripping a 2 pound stick through the zone at 80 mph takes a toll.

While Devers is 2 years younger than Correa, he has 22 WAR less than him. He’s very bad defensively, and I’m not sure his bat makes up for it enough

@BlakeRobins0n Devers is just a bit over 2 years younger and has just a bit over two years less service time. Using 2023 numbers for extrapolation purposes to pull them even in service time you get Devers with 238 HRs to Correa's 173. Devers' RBI: 755 to Correa's 618 and Devers' has 709 runs to 568. Devers Ave is 280 Correa's is 272. Use WAR if you like but the other stats are all in Devers' favor.

@@BlakeRobins0n judge turns 32 when the season starts. judge needs 226 hrs for 500 career hr, and 500 isn't even a guarantee for HOF. judge will def not get there. as for ohtani he probably does just because he's doing both at a high level. i just dont trust ohtani to stay healthy long enough to make the HOF.
