Literally takes 10 minutes, hard part is finding an ecu with a key already paired to it

i didn't realise it was this easy lol, the drivers side door lock on the td has just given up so i shall be sourcing one of these ecus immediately 😂

Yup super easy, hard part is finding an ecu with a working key already paired to it, dont forget the plugs with some loom too, best bet would be a scrapyard or find someone breaking a vectra b

I see you're looking a lot more confident in front of the camera. Also, cracking video, didn't realise it was that easy to do.

Aha not really 😂 kinda forcing myself to be abit louder and clearer, and yeah it's well easy 😂 watched the majority of your videos the other day from when you first started out, quite jealous of those carbon fibre dash caps you were making few years back, I wouldn't mind doing something similar but with fibreglass and covering the top of it with black leather or viynl

You should give it a go, it's really not that hard.

Is it just the red wire required Chris?

It is mate :) technically you could just bridge a wire from that pin on module to the red on the car loom side, there is other stuff you can do with them too though like wiring in a flashing relay so the indicators flash when it's locked and unlocked which is why its best to get the whole secondary plug, will be doing the same plus extras on my cavalier in the future
