I’ve seen people fill the bike up with oil before they put the clutch cover back on so the fibers get wet before initial start up.

Pro Tip: When working with ferrous metals, magnets can be your friend. Pro Tip#2: Every single bolt on a bike will have a Torque Spec from the manufacturer , a torque wrench can also be your friend.( I'm also guilty of being in a hurry to use one, but I've never stripped or pulled any threads using a torque wrench.) I've also heard "real mechanics" don't need them.🤣

Does the product increase wear on transmission? Interested in trying but I’ve heard of these contributing to transmission damage in Yamahas which is simply not worth the risk imo. Anybody got person experience on a Yamaha?

Put the steel plates in at an angle at first to get the teeth lined up quicker

But, is it better than a Hinson?

Much better 👍🙂

@@jctoth Except for durability. Just watched a video that after 6 hours you need a new clutch. I am good. I'll stick with Hinson.

@@mav459 depends on how you use or abuse your clutch. I’ve had the Rekluse Torqdrive plates in for over a year now and they’re still running strong.
