Bridger weight Isn’t established WBC make belts for fun That’s what it is
@justinshadrach8294 ай бұрын
It isn't but it makes sense. The gap between 200lbs and the top 240lbs+ heavyweights is huge. So it does makes sense. Unless your a generational legend USYK, Holyfield etc....for the average guy struggling to make weight at cruiser, at least you don't have to put on 30lbs to move up. But right now it's not a serious belt.....until more fighters start fighting for it.
@bambamunlicensed90854 ай бұрын
@@justinshadrach829 if ya fight weight is 200 Ya walk around weight is probably 250+ Besides okolie is a heavyweight,he boils down to cruiser, he may struggle to make cruisers now or wants the easiest title So went bridger Okolie will go heavyweight ,won’t go back down again mate My opinion

I think Wilder can fight at this weight class
@MTopping024 ай бұрын
Usyk and Wilder are proof that the bridgerweight division doesn't need to exist. Usyk making the cruiserweight limit and now being the undisputed heavyweight champion shows that the "smaller" heavyweights aren't outmatched. The bridgerweight division gaining too much momentum would just dilute the talent in the heavyweight division. Even Wilder at only around 215lbs punches harder than most of the 270lb men.

We say that but which up coming heavyweight who passes the eye test and is young besides Jared Anderson and Moses itauma? Neither are the size of fury, wilder, AJ or Zhang. Heavyweights getting short again. And more money made at heavyweight. You’re statement if anything ridicules Bridgerweight. Usyk at 223 beat Chisora, AJ X2 Now Fury. Wilder dropped fury how many times in 2/3 fights? Usyk proved bridgerweight is silly. Just needed to increase limit of cruiserweight and job woulda be done. No new division was truly needed for anything other than sanctioning fees. What a lineage Oscar Rivas, rozanski now Okolie!! WOW. wbc are amazing for boxing!!!!!!
