Great job and now liked and subscribed. Been over to your video list but since this summary there only individual jean reviews - all of which I've right clicked on to open in new tabs and will work my way through - so with this somewhat onerous task in mind please can you do an update for 2020 on "The Best Motorcycle Jeans"? You could call it something catchy like "The Best Motorcycle Jeans 2020"! ;-)

Hi, I am really confused about "true to size" fits, I am wearing a few Volcom jeans and they are size 34. I have bullit jeans size 34, klim outrider size 34 but when I tried Revit Lombard 2 Jean size 36 was pretty tight. I wanted to buy Orlando jeans but I don't know what size to get. Do I get size 36? I also wear Saint skinny jeans size 36 and they are large at the waist but really skinny at the leg. What are the measurements for the Orlando H2O jeans?
@SlickMotoMike4 жыл бұрын
I find it difficult to find my waist size which is 26inch by 34 length when wearing boots. I am a 26inch waist in slim fit river island jeans so should I buy 28 in motorcycle but they will probably be very loose unless I can get them tailored

Would the rev'it knee armour fit in the armour pockets of the resurgence cafe racer jeans?
@UrbanRiderlondon7 жыл бұрын
It's the same dimensions but the D3o that goes in the resurgence jeans has velcro on the front to keep it in the right place. Without that the Rev'it armour would just fall too low within the pocket. Cheers, Andrew

what about hood jeans least expensive £157 with armour and fully lined and with coolmax lining.And the jeans and armour is CE approved level AA
@InsolentMinxGoPro5 жыл бұрын
You can only buy Hood jeans from Hood themselves, so I don't think UR would do a video about something you can't buy from them. I've had Hood jeans in the past, and they are very good. From my experience with their old styles, they were just a plain (not particularly stylish) jean, with full kevlar lining. They were a lot cheaper back when I bought them years ago though!!

Love your work guys, few questions. When your wearing the jeans do you have the armour on in the video?? Also what are those gorgeous boots your wearing? Are they motorcycle boots? Cheers
@UrbanRiderlondon7 жыл бұрын
Hi Rafael. Thanks very much. Where the jeans have the armour included as standard it is fitted, such as the Rev'it jeans. The Rokker jeans it's an extra and the Knox jeans in the size 32" wouldn't fit the armour as they were so tight. The boots are my Rokker Urban Racers which I love. Yes we ship a to to the US. Takes 1-2 working days. You don't have to pay Uk VAT or US Customs fees if you're buying bike jeans from us so it's a pretty sweet deal. Cheers, Andrew

Hi Andrew, i can not understand how a guy at your height 6FT2" is alright with inside leg measurement length of 32? I am 5FT6" and i wear an inside length of 31. Thanks.
@UrbanRiderlondon6 жыл бұрын
Hiya. I can see your point. Normally, brands of bike jeans will account for the fact the leg will rise up when you are in position on a bike and make the 32" leg slightly longer to account for that. The Resurgence Cafe Racer for example are 32" but have the extra 2" on the roll-up if you need it when on the bike. The Knox are a 33" leg anyway. I've got a slightly longer body relatively speaking so that may be a factor. Truth be told I would be happy in 32 or 34 leg but prefer not to have excess fabric if possible. If wearing motorcycle trainers I'd definitely opt for a 34" but in something like the Rokker Urban Racer boots I am wearing in this review, the 32" looks better in my opinion and is just long enough. Cheers, Andrew
@pppam6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the prompt reply, so i suppose that in my height at 5FT6" i will most probably look silly in these 32 " length jeans :-) as i will have to turn them up a lot...
@UrbanRiderlondon6 жыл бұрын
I don't think that would be the case. Chances are you'd be on the lower limit of what works with a 32" and I'd be right on the upper. Some brands we do now offer a 30" leg but I still think 32" would be OK for you in a lot of these jeans.

So what about the Roadskin jeans, They are said to have a 10.05 slide time and said to be better then a pro leather race suit. If someone could do a review and see if this is on the up and up that would be great!

Why give slide times at 20mph, can we have slide times of 60mph.
@UrbanRiderlondon5 жыл бұрын
It's just the way the industry tests it. The majority of accidents occur at speeds below 20mph so maybe this speed was deemed the most useful. It still means you can compare one product to another.

Can any of these be bought in the US?
@UrbanRiderlondon7 жыл бұрын
Hi Benjamin, I imagine a number of these can be purchased locally in the US. We ship to the US every day on a next day service (2 days for West Coast). Cost for shipping jeans is £14.99. Because it's under $800 there are no Customs fees / duty to be paid. Also, you pay the listed price less UK VAT (20%). Cheers, Andrew

The problem with jeans that are lined with kevlar, pekev etc. is they are heavy and hot, whatever the manufacturers claim. Some good alternatives here. I like the Saints. I wonder if the leggings are hot.

I have a pair of Richa jeans and they are perfect for summer. They are a tight fit but fit well on the bike. They come with D3O armour, making it even lighter. They're super breezy without the boot straps but warm enough.
