I love how stoked you got about seeing that eagle! That's one thing I don't see enough of on mountain bike videos, appreciating nature. I admit it is hard to notice much when you are in the zone shredding trail. But some rides I just like to take my time and stop to pick mushrooms 👍

I haven't commented before, but I truly enjoy your first person and third person views of your riding and KZbin content! Spectacular impressions as you ride with others and how well you tackle the train as if you knew the place from childhood--first Tim you see it, you just nail it and still have time to take in the view around you...I will keep watching!

I always wonder if these riders are taking in the beauty around them as they speed down the mountains. Well, he stopped when he saw a massive bird treetop which answered that question. As fun as the riding is, there is so much beautiful scenery around them that it would be a shame if they missed it all. Good stuff. Thanks guys.

Great ride! Derek and co have put so many hours into trail building all over Fernie -so much love! I had the chance to ride in the first 2 Dirk Diggler DH, once on a rented Norco Shore (cleaned the coal chute!) 2nd time my hardtail (in the snow)... that was a heroic fail, but still hilarious fun. Trail has evolved a ton since then -ever changing, part of the sport. Haven't hit that trail in 13 years, I need to ride it again!

@@remymetailler what is the biggest difference you personally feel when you change bike? Do you change your riding style? I find I use a lot more movement and have to be very aggressive to get the bike planted and operating in the sweet area of the platform. If I do not it feels like I'm on top of the bike not "in it".

@@ianmarr2557 Finding the limits of each bike is definitely what takes me the longest. As far as position, and it's fairly easy for me.

@@remymetailler I wish. It's weird how hard I have to push initially to get any feedback from the bike and any time I have ridden on the bike not in it then I can't say it has been a pleasurable experience, almost terrifying.
